The neighborhood creamy whip for Yellow Springs. Good food with a nice, shaded area to spread out and enjoy a cone or whatnot.

Great ice cream and my son loves the hotdogs, all beef with top split grilled bun. They have soft serve that they add flavor to, to create 30 some flavors. The coffee flavor and coconut flavor are our favorites. The have vegan options as well. A great stop for a cool treat while shopping around Yellow Springs.

As a person with a dairy intolerance, I would give this place a 6 if I could!!! 30 flavors of vegan(or regular) soft serve and they’ll even make a special banana split or a sundae with dairy free toppings. Plus the hot dog buns are dairy free because they also have vegan hot dogs. If you are vegan, dairy intolerant, or just love good soft serve ice cream and hot dogs, this is your place!

Great price, Always cold! Milk shakes are thick and tasty. Kids cone are a great size and a good price. And there is good seating. Lines can get long but overall I always prefer them over Youngs Dairy!

Great summer hit-up for some ice cream. I like the location, outdoor seating and WiFi availability. Lots of shaded picnic tables to house the whole gang. Ice cream is relatively inexpensive and not bad quality… your typical soft serve. Stop in and stay for a while.

Mix YUMMY soft serve ice cream(lots of flavors to mix/match!), GREAT outdoor seating(we even got to listen to some cool reggae group from San Antonio get set up…), a limited food menu(noticed everyone was ordering mozzarella sticks; they must be GOOD!!!), bike rentals, and some FINE Yellow Springs corner/people-watching opps. and you just can’t go wrong! Be sure to check out the neat-o, suuuper colorful knit tree covers(yes… YS trees have nicer«scarves» than most people!!)

Atmosphere was fun(toddler sized adirondack chairs are a plus!). Hazelnut milkshake was the oddest tasting milkshake I’ve ever tasted.

Went there for the sugar-free ice cream and oh-boy it was delicious. The sizes are enormous(even though we ordered small) and it tasted delicious. Cash-only for orders below $ 5, but honestly with prices in the 1 – 5 dollar range, I also wouldn’t want to bother with credit company fees for small transactions if I was the owner. I tried the caramel soft-serve and will definitely be returning for more.

I don’t know what name they’re under now, but pretty sure whatever it is now was the same in the summer of 2010. I’m not impressed by their«Blizzard» knock offs… much rather just go to DQ for the real thing. I’m pretty sure I paid a little over $ 4 for one, the toppings weren’t mixed and the soft serve tasted like a salt lick! Gross! Oh, and I think it’s annoying how you have to spend over $ 10 to use credit… is this some sort of plot to get people to order more than just ice cream? If I’m going to spend that much, might as well go to Young’s for some REAL ice cream.

Very classy dairy bar. Rent bikes, eat food that hasn’t touched a deep fryer or food that has, soft serve ice cream, very nice seating with fire pit for those slightly chilled autumn nights. Sometimes has live music. Of everything a soft serve dairy bar could be the freeze has filtered out the worst while flourishing a certain wholesome pizazz.
