Second trip — didn’t learn my lesson the first time — I only remembered my experience when the food arrived. Gross! I should have known when at 12pm I was the only person in the place. It is beautifully decorated and clean, but the food is awful. All meat and sauce from a mix — no vegetables or anything fresh. Fried rice was just soy sauce and rice… General Tsao’s Chicken was actually beef (I think) and it came with strange lumps of deep fried pork that tasted like it was bad. I left them alone. I kept getting who the heck are you looks from the waitress/​cook. Sorry, I don’t live here. I guess that is the key to getting good food? Weird place — stay away!

Very underwhelming and food pretty bland. Rice was dry too. Sad, had high expectations

I should have known the empty parking lot was a barometer of the quality of the food inside. The food had no seasoning, none, zilch, nada, squat. I had the War Mein, a hearty soup with noodles, meat and vegetables. As I said earlier there was no seasoning. Instead of egg noodles, there were spaghetti noodles. I asked for Sesame oil to improve the flavor. They brought me cooking oil. This was the only Chinese food that I felt compelled to use salt and pepper. It didn’t help. I ordered egg foo youn to go. This dish also was devoid of any flavor. Usually steam rice comes with all dishes however when I ordered I specifically asked for some. Unpacking after getting home no rice. The fortune cookie was great and not made at this place and is the reason the place got one star. save your money and drive past this and wait until Seattle before stopping for Chinese food.

I’ve only been there once, but my son got really sick from eating fish there but I don’t think it’s fair to blame them for it without knowing for sure. My one experience was not good. The good tasted like it was sitting out for a while, there was little if any service, they didn’t seem to have any server’s other than one poor lady trying to run the entire place. There were no other customer’s and they never seem to have any cars parked there so it could be they’re struggling to make it work and I can’t say anything too negative because I feel they either unable to hire adequate staff to help, and trying to go it alone. I’d usually be pretty upset after an experience like that, but this one feels different. Maybe we should all go a few times and help them build business. If it just stays bad in every way, at least we tried. God bless them. It’s a very hard life

None of the fried food was crispy and food was bland. My kids wouldn’t eat the sesame chicken and they ALWAYS love that dish! Owner was nice, but will not return. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone unless your really craving Chinese and you’ve had some alcohol.

Went here this past Friday with my husband, I didn’t want to go but he did because he has never been there. The Asian lady is rude. My husband ordered the Mongolian beef, it came out with about six small bits of boiled beef and a large pile of onions and bell peppers, very bland. I had a cheese burger that was smothered in ketchup. We didn’t finish even half of our meal, just paid and went to Cattleman’s for real food. We will never go there again and I would never suggest this place to anyone.

Three and a half, really. The owner is very nice even if she is a little jolting. The egg foo young is fine and dandy, but the food is. a little weird. It’s like cafeteria level chinese and I was fairly unimpressed. The fried rice was okay. Like, B-?

The food here was very bland and flavorless. The staff, however, we’re friendly and outgoing. Will probably not be going back.

Worse service and after addressing that the food didn’t taste right was still charged the full amount! Would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

OK the lady who works there is incredibly nice, the food is bland. I wouldn’t go there again, can’t expect more then a gut bomb. The ambience is lovely and was suuuuperrr clean!

This place is the worst place I’ve ever been. Just look at the pictures of the food, that says a lot. Now for the taste, I could probably get a dollar banquet frozen meal that had more flavor than that food. This was my second time there and I only went because I was with someone else and they had wanted to try the restaurant. I thought what the heck they may have changed. It was worse this time. And my friend said he was sorry he chose that place. No way will I return. Service was bad we waited half an hour for nothing. Didn’t even get 1\2 through our meal. When we said how little we enjoyed the meal she just stared at us. Nope won’t go back!!:(:(:(and only choose 1 star because Unilocal made me choose how may stars… none should be a choice for this place.

The oriental lady that took our order was rude. The food was edible, but was abysmal. It was not worth the money that we paid for it. I would of rather driven somewhere else to have better Chinese food.

The owner of a Golden Dragon is very accommodating, the restaurant is very clean, and the food is delicious. Especially the General Tao Chicken. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

Expected a lot more from the outside, (thinking Hibachi style), got inside, and had a long wait between seating and ordering drinks… then ordering food. My food was very good though, except I wasn’t impressed with the fried rice, or more accurately mushy rice. Not a bad place, just not a great place either. I’ll eat there again. but will choose other local places over it most times.

This place might be good for those who don’t normally eat ethnic food. This is not Chinese food! Like another reviewer said, we couldn’t tell the dishes apart. they all tasted equally weird and bland.

Have been tempted to try this place for a while as I drove by because little places like this are either very good or very bad, of course I was hoping for the former. I ordered a variety of dishes to test them out and not a single one would even have been rated as acceptable. The deep-​fried meat dishes were overly greasy with the oddest collection of chunks of meat I have seen since I traveled in China, but I expected to minuscule scraps covered with breading there. The stir fry dishes were utterly bland as if the restaurant tries to prove they don’t have MSG by going in the opposite direction and leaving out any salt or any flavor at all. The food has failed my final test as well, cold Chinese in the morning. Normally the flavors of a Chinese dish meld better and the flavors of cold Chinese food the following morning just pop, but this food still remains utterly bland.

Thanks to the email received from someone in relationship with the restaurant, I have downgraded my review from 2 stars to a single star. The mail was profane, insulting and the act of a small thinker. While Unilocal reviews IP information to track this person, I suggest you find an alternative to eating here as the bitter spirit, below average food and inflated prices are enough to make you wished you ate somewhere else. The latest review also shows a single star only confirming to all that this place is certified nasty!
Of course this is my opinion only, but feel free to look at the compliments and comments to my review.

Would not recommend. Don’t waste your money.

We ordered our food to-​go, honestly if we had eaten there instead I probably would have given it 2 stars because the lady who got our food ready was very very nice.
The food… wow I was not impressed WHAT SO EVER. I ordered the D4 and my husband ordered the D5 so we could try a variety of items. What we got was 2 containers of fried food that all looked almost identical and we couldn’t even tell it apart. A few sauces in separate containers that tasted very bland. Honestly we weren’t even sure what was what… so I couldn’t tell you what to avoid LOL. I substituted steamed rice for my meal and literally ended up only eating that. The coating they used on their fried meats was really thick and soggy.
We will not be ordering from here again.

Decent food. Good prices.
The owner is wonderful. She is very sweet and always present. She has an impeccable memory and she is very attentive.
The egg foo young is my favorite.
