Uptown Lounge

Great place. Great food. I had the Sliders, should have asked for a little less onions. Wife had the Street Taco’s, she loved them. She ordered a white wine and was not impressed with it. Will definitely return to try other menu items and update this review as needed.

Very cool place. Alex our bartender was great with the blood orange margaritas. The Stewart’s Meat NY steak, medallions, and chicken quesidillas were all awesome. Of course this was over two nights there. If visiting Yelm stay at the Prairie Hotel and dine at Uptown.

This place is awesome! Finally somewhere nice to sit down and have a drink and dinner without the riff raff. Foods great and service is top notch.

Funny how they put over a million dollars into the places aesthetics but somehow skimped on the food… It’s a shame when your complimentary popcorn is the best thing you’ve ate all night.

The Thai burger is outstand! The chips that they make fresh there is now my new favorite. The service is friendly, fast and accurate. Free popcorn appatizer, strong drinks and fantastic atmosphere are certainly some of the perks of this compfortable restaurant.

This place is the fanciest place in Yelm. The food is great has a good presentation and price is more than fair (about red robin prices). The bar is nice too would like to see energy drinks so that we have options for a few other drinks or else this place would be 5 star.

We were excited for this place to open! Really pretty inside, the drinks were good but the food wasn’t. It’s basically a grown ups Red Robin and I was hoping for some vegetarian and light options. We already have enough heavy and unhealthy food in Yelm.

Great upscale restaurant in Yelm. The food, drinks and customer service are top of the line. They even serve steaks from Stewart’s Meat Market! :-)

WOW! Our second time coming out to this AWESOME place! This time, we came on a Sat. night for a dinner and movie! We came about an hour before the movie started and the place was PACKED! Luckily, there was just ONE table left and we got sat at a small round table by a chair and couch… interesting arrangement of furniture and selection… in our little squared off area, there were 4 small round tables each with their own couch and side chair. So it was perfect for me and hubby to eat at… we ordered an appetizer of the Artichoke and Spinach Dip with the Bread slices and it was SOOOO good! We could of easily just had this app and a drink and been FULL! We did order the burgers and fries… Hubby got the Jalopenio Burger and I the Thai burger but we just ended up boxing them up whole and took them into the movie with us we were SOO full! I thought i would eat during the long 3 hr movie but we were still full fro the appetizer! DELISH! I love the atosphere here and love seeing the place full of people enjoying themselves… this is an awesome place to come for food, drinks and to relax and spend time with friends and family! So glad Yelm has this awesome place! The only problem is PARKING! There was NO place to park! The place was FULL all in the front and full even in the back areas! Hubby had to drive around a bit and wait for someone to leave! BUT, this just means how awesome everyone thinks this place is! Going to come back for a Chocolate Martini next time we are out! This is now my number 1 favorite restraunt in Yelm followed by Garden to Gourmet! You will NOT be disappointed!

I wish there was a 3.5 star!!! This is a nice addition to our small selection of restaurants in Yelm! I gave it a 3 because my chicken BLTA was dry and even adding ketchup to it didn’t really help… maybe if they did some sort of house sauce for a signature, that would be a better option than nothing at all. My fries were a bit on the freezer burned side :(Service was sweet… kinda weird they give popcorn as the pre-​appetizer, but I do like unique things that stand out. Chairs are super comfy and prices are very reasonable for what we got! I definitely would go back and give it another try!

It’s Truly Uptown! The grandeur –a light, sound, space Experience! The cocktails are Amazing, fun, and delicious! Come to drink before the movie, lounge back in your movie sets, then go eat lunch or dinner! They even have motorized mesh roller shades I wish I’d have installed –Apex Window Fashions!
Ate the hot roast beef Sammy! Quite the taste sensation and yummy steak fries. Mac And cheese tastes great (tried Deb’s), and Shubha’s Jalapeño burger was good too.
Sabrina was a great server who knows the menu! She’s a keeper.

Good service! Good appetizers. Drinks are a little strong on the citrus side. Good environment!

Ok seriously if Yelm needed anything it is The Uptown Lounge! So stylish and so today! I’m in love. The food is amazing! The drinks are creative quality with a smile! The servers and staff are amazing and helpful with decision making on the super fantastic menu. Oh and the music! Yes! That is all… Just YES!

Uptown lounge is very gorgeous. Can’t believe how awesome the Yelm theaters are. Haven’t tried the food yet, but bartenders and servers are amazing and awesome. Very classy place.

Enjoyed dinner here tonight and we will be back! Very good food and fun atmosphere. Only negative thing was the Cabernet my husband ordered tasted like the bottle had been open a few days but other than that very pleased!

We enjoyed great appetizers, lovely dinners and an AMAZING staff. Great eclectic selection of drinks, too. Worth the drive to Yelm.

I am blown away by this little gem. At first I was skeptical that a movie theater could produce anything of quality but I was beyond wrong. This is a staple in the yelm community and I can’t wait to come back!

Excellent food and a great bar with some really fun drinks. The staff was friendly and professional. I highly recommend the street tacos. Yelm has been in need of a place like this.
