US Post Office

One of my worst places to visit in the world. Service is so horrible here. They are slow and dont care about the long lines. I hate going here but my mailman is a loser and doesnt attempt to deliver my packages, he just leaves notes in my mailbox. I work from home so i would know of he tries. So when i get those notices, i have to spend at least an hour just to pick it up. Not surprised my mailman sucks after coming in and seeing the service.

I cannot comment enough about the long lines, people on breaks, poor service, horrible website, inability to reach anyone by phone and on and on. No wonder the PO is having financial problems. People are looking for alternatives to the long lines and poor service. I have mailed packages and they have sat in a PO for a week before moving on. This according to their tracking information. I have mailed items on Tuesday and by Thursday have not moved from that facility. Then it is impossible to contact them because of the way their website is set up. Try to call and the automated answers do not relate to what I need so I try to reach a person and am told it is not available. No way to reach ANYONE. Never had near these issues when I shipped UPS or FED EX. I mail packages every week so I am moving on. The stress is not worth the little bit in savings. Horrible service!!!

The general manager seriously needs a new life or a new attitude. He doesn’t let people finish their sentence, cuts people off, without knowing the background of a request, or the situation he just tells you that he doesn’t know anything. Just RUDE in general.
However, David was really helpful. He listened, followed up with me regarding my question.

The gentleman who works here needs help on his customer service skills, always unfriendly. The post office needs more people working out front. Everytime I am there they have either 1 or 2 people working so the line is always long.

If I could give this Post Office branch negative stars I would. This is the most inefficient group of workers I have ever experienced. I have been forced to come to this branch for over two years to sign for my mail. It does not matter if it is a Monday or a Saturday, all days equal about an hour wait in line while the employees drag their feet, work slow, talk down to you if you ask them a question. Customer service is not something that this branch is familiar with. it is amazing to me that these people still have jobs. If they had to work in a competitive work place, they would have been fired years ago. I am extremely happy that the majority of communications these days can be done online.

The United Post Office should go out of business with customer service like that!
So you know who he is, an Asian employee there harassed my wife, not a racist remark my wife is Asian also, when she was just trying to ship a malfunctioning camcorder back to the manufacture for repairs. Harassed her about the amount of insurance ($ 1400 which is the replacement cost of the camcorder) said, «he would not insure it for that much, but he would for $ 1000.» He repeatedly questioned her about why would she would send a broken camcorder back to the manufacture since already broken, insinuating that she was just going to make a claim on it fraudulently. That’s only the tip of the iceberg with this a hole. She left so furious and frustrated she couldn’t speak. He’s lucky I wasn’t there with her. The other postal worker was able to help 8 people in the time he took to see 1 prior to her! Never again

Poor slow service. They need some upbeat alert staff that can work efficiently here. There’s a line of 30 people on a Monday afternoon with only one old lady working here. This post office is failing our community with inefficient work flow and staff. You have to wait 1 hour to get help. Seriously, this is worst than what you see j the other countries.

I’ve had so much better experiences elsewhere, but NOT at this location. They talk down to you and they always seem annoyed that you ask ANY questions. It doesn’t seem to matter WHEN you go, they remind me where the word «going postal» came from.
— Delivery of Packages = only if you’re lucky, you’ll get it.
My neighbors and I have had so many occasions where a package is marked «delivered» when you track it, yet it really never was delivered. Every time I was at this location in person (in line that never seem to move), I’ve always witnessed at least one person asking them about the package with «delivered» status, but never delivered.
That brings me to my final point: they do have a phone number, but don’t bother, you’ll never get anything but the busy signal. That’s probably why I always see people coming in to ask them why they haven’t received the package that the tracking says delivered. If you want to save your time and frustration, don’t bother with that, either, I’ve never seen them telling anyone anything other than what I translate to «too bad, so sad, it says delivered, so we must have delivered. (insert shoulder shrug)».

Came here on a Saturday after they had closed to use the APC. They were very low on shipping boxes and didn’t have any flat rate package envelopes available. Also there was no priority mail tape available to tape the box shut. This was very inconvenient.

I can get mail a package in the self-​automated mailing system here in 10mins rather than stand in line for an hour for the slow human service counter.

The US postal service is a joke. They would rather spend their time complaining about they are being underfunded rather than just provide good customer service. They are good if you are shipping something, not of you are receiving something. If you want to know when to expect a package take their estimated delivery time and add 2 – 3 days! They bend photographs even if they are reinforced, but what does it matter when you are only concerned about collecting a paycheck? The people in the post office treat you like an inconvenience and your postal carrier ignores you when you wave or speak to him. When I see something being shipped to me through USPS I sigh and prepare myself for problems. I ordered something on Thursday and it shipped Saturday, I am still waiting for it. I ordered something Sunday and it shipped through UPS yesterday, it arrived today. Stick with FedEx and ups and let USPS finally die.

Great location right off of 185^th and T.V. Highway! Easy in and out in the parking lot. There is a self serve kiosk inside that is pretty user friendly and drop boxes as well. They leave free boxes out over the weekends that you can use. There are 3 drop boxes outside that you can drive up to. Overall it’s just a very good post office with great self help tools

The best part of this post office is the automated postal machine. I went in on the 16^th to mail in my tax form and the line was HUMONGOUS. But there was no one using the automated machine. I used that and continued on my way within 3 minutes. the longest part was answering that no there was nothing forbidden in the envelope.
