American Ribs & Jerk

1÷28÷2014 Spoke with a rep at Seamless this morning who was incredibly helpful and willing to reach out to the company for me and credit me my money back. Absolutely ridiculous that this had to happen but my faith is now restored in online transactions even if the companies they partner with are shady. :/

My pops and I love this place for fried food.
Extremely small, but love the fact that there is still seating available and TV.
Comes across as a popeyes/​kfc atmosphere.

This was the worst take out I’ve had in my life! The food was tasteless, cold and basically burnt. To add insult, the portions do not even fit the price. I give this place no stars. I will never order from here again! Grubhub should delete this place from it’s list!

I think I gave American Ribs and Jerk a fair chance by trying most of their menu but sadly I could not find a single thing I really liked. The ribs were moist but the sauce was flat. It was just heat without depth so it had that sort of ketchup-​y taste. The jerk chicken was also moist so it does seem like they can cook but the jerk spices again provided heat without any depth of flavor. The fries were average. The cook was varied so some fries were slightly raw and some were overcooked and some were fine. Some were crunchy. Some were soft. The onion rings were very greasy and limp. The macaroni tasted oddly sour. I just can’t find anything to recommend this place so I have to give it two stars.

We wanted to try something new, but after waiting almost two hours for delivery (we only ordered desserts and appetizers (cost was $ 60+), discovering the items were replaced with ones we didn’t order and the quality of said items were subpar at best… we won’t be ordering from here ever again. Save your money, time and «cheat day» for something better.
