Cool pub to stop in– grab a few beers, play some pool, darts or just hang out with the bartender. Not pretentious or a need feel like your spending your whole wage on drinks; moderately priced. I recommend for after work or a group of friends to pre-game or post– game.

Excellent bar different from all the other bars on Mclean. Specially on Thursday evening, very mix environment. Working professionals trying to relax and enjoy each other presences. There is a $ 4 Thursday going on which is excellent to take advantage of.

Been here a couple of times, here’s my .02… Beer… good. Lot of local crafts, bartenders are happy to tell you about them/let you try them. Food… decent. I had a burger with onion rings. Burger was surprisingly good. Onion rings clearly came out of a bag(and not good). That cost $ 12. Other people I was with got the burger sliders. The menu doesn’t specify if they came with fries, so we asked, and they said fries on the side. They did, but as a side order. for $ 6. So 3 small sliders with fries came to $ 16. Sliders and burgers were good… but $ 16? Not even close. Oh, and for some reason the wings are an ‘entrée’ and not an ‘appetizer’ so you can’t get them in the sampler. Seemed strange to me. Service… Good and bad. Bartenders were good. But the ‘chef’ sat at the bar when not cooking, long greasy pony tail and was probably-to-most definitely high. Rather off putting If it were my bar he wouldn’t be sitting there, but that’s just me. I wish them luck as I like their always changing beer selection. There’s not much competition around in the craft beer department, but let’s face it… in this town people worry more about the price and specials than they do about good beer. It’s a gift and a curse for a bar owner.

Easily one of the worst bars I’ve been to in a long time… and I gave it three chances. The first time I went, they had just opened. The dining area was closed and there were no seats at the bar. The bartender just told us we were out of luck, instead of trying to make some room or at least turn on some lights in the dining area so we could enjoy a beer, so my friends and I left. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they were brand new. The second time I went, the place was packed and no seats again, so we left… this time I thought«they must be doing well, so I’ll come back on a slower night»… still not turned off and wanting to go. The third time was the last time. My boyfriend and I went to grab some food and a beer. I should mention I work at a craft beer bar, so beer knowledge and selection in a bar that is labeled a craft beer bar is important to me. The bartender seemed more interested in smoking outside than waiting on two new bar guests. The smell of weed coming through the door was ridiculously strong. I can’t say that any employee was actually smoking weed, it may have just been a passerby, but I can’t say for sure that they weren’t either. What a turn off. He did come inside though and it was instantly clear that he wasn’t exactly a beer fanatic because when I said I was looking for something new and light, he suggested going with a Bud Light because it was an «old favorite.» Then, 15 minutes after we ordered food, the barback told us that our food was never put in because the kitchen closed when we got there. Wouldn’t that have been nice to tell us when we ordered instead of giving us menus and letting us order? I will definitely never be back here again. 3 strikes, you’re out.

Quiet bar on McLean, nicely decorated and great local beer selection.
