Kinda cool. A candy/froyo shop. Convenient because its a part of the mall. Would go again in between shopping.

I had the omelette this morning with my date. It was so filling and tasty. Had the chorizo with pepper jack cheese and peppers. I’ll come again. The staff was very friendly and the environment was nice.

Oops forgot to use my check-in coupon for 10% off by checking in on Unilocal! Many choices were given here, non-sugar and non-fat included. However my favorite part remained the topping section. Similar to other frozen yogurt places, they had candies/fruits, and even m&m beans! Not too crowded, even on a burning Saturday afternoon… extra credit for that!

If chocolate covered gummy bears & Swedish fish float ur boat this is ur spot(they’re totally delish btw) I do think maybe they should stay in that lane. Stopped by to get a bite recently but instantly got so turned off by the overwhelming smell of fried food– you know the one that clings to clothing so that people smell u before they see u– ugh!!! Rather than comment on the unpleasant odor I said that i had changed my mind & wanted McDonalds instead– not meant to offend the employee I just wanted to leave quickly so that my clothes wouldn’t smell & as weak as that was it was the best I could do w/o being rude, sorry. But they’ve got such an impressive assortment of sweets I don’t know why they wouldn’t just quit the food part– be that as it may I will return for those addictive gummy bears & Swedish fish. It has a really nice light-hearted atmosphere for families.

We stopped in for dessert. We did not get frozen yogurt. We did get candy and coffee. The people that work here are very nice. The location was clean. The kids enjoyed picking out candy by the scoop. We would stop in again if we were in the area. I was surprised that you could use any of the self service bons as topping to the frozen yogurt.

So I’ve been to Frannie’s a few more times & learned the perfect trick… If you’re planning to get food(breakfast or lunch items, sandwiches, crepes, etc) just call and order it 10 or so minutes before you arrive. I’ve gotten a few breakfast sandwiches since my first so-so experience and they’ve all been really delicious and well prepared. I love that they offer a discount for mall employees too! My coworkers have gotten some delicious wraps and crepes from here, so it’s definitely time to expand my palette and try more than a simple egg & cheese. Still haven’t tried any candies or froyo yet, but here’s hoping I’ll have a chance soon! Thanks Frannie’s, sorry I originally doubted you.

This place is a link in a chain of self-service frozen yogurt parlors which seem to be very in vogue these days. Out of the few places I’ve tried I would put Frannie’s on the bottom. One would expect frozen yogurt to have a smooth, slightly firm, creamy consistency with a subtle tart flavor. Frannie’s frozen yogurt, however, has a slushy/slightly melted consistency and the flavors are bland. I’ve never had an experience during my few visits where the frozen yogurt was truly good. The toppings are limited, probably the most limited I’ve seen at any froyo place. The table they are arranged on is not ideal for the large volume of customers they usually serve, and you need to go to a separate counter to add sauces. Quality control is essential if you have patrons topping their own froyo, and I feel that an employee should be supervising the toppings at all times to ensure that. Because Frannie’s doesn’t do that, you subsequently have a messy toppings bar. For me, the value doesn’t match the quality. I’ve paid less at other froyo places for a better treat. Save your money and go to a better froyo parlor like Red Mango.

Cute place that looks well kept. More than your run of the mill pick of toppings from cereals to nuts to mochi and fruit you’ll find something for your yogurt/ice cream that you enjoy. Some flavors are excellent like dulce de leche for example and the«gelato» just stay clear of that thing. A bit pricey if you compare to pink berry. Overall not too shabby.

I like this place. They offer a lot of «goodies» and toppings. Only thing is, its very pricey I think. Thank God theres Groupon deal running right now.

Not fond of this place at all. I understand that these FroYo places have become quite popular lately, and you can find a few really great places around Westchester but this is NOT one of them. Besides the fact that it is completely overpriced — it simply does not taste good… the flavors just seem«off». I have tried it twice so far, and I have not been satisfied. If the taste matched the price tag I would have no problem paying for it… but it doesn’t. All the cups are the same size, and it becomes tempting to fill which is a good business strategy and all… but what kind of establishment doesn’t offer small/medium/large? My sister and I hardly filled our cups halfway, added a sprinkle of toppings because we were full from Yard House — and it came out to sixteen dollars. For what? They ended up half-eaten in the trash because they are overwhelmingly sweet. They offer A LOT of flavor options and a great amount of candy to use as a topping(or to be bagged and taken home) but I question the sanitation because they are not in dispenser form… anyone can reach their hand in and take a bite… gross…will not be coming back here again.

One star is fair. This is a candy store/FroYo place so the one star goes for the freshness of the candies, that’s about it. Stale gummy candy stinks so I appreciate fresh stuff. That being said, I understand that there’s an outpost of this chain in the Plaza Food Hall but you’re charging Plaza prices in the suburbs. Seriously? 49 cents an ounce without toppings, 59 cents with toppings and the variations go on from there. This is all on a wall behind the buckets for FroYo where people probably won’t usually look. Now my parents wanted cones and myself and the little one opted for just a little bit of FroYo still being full from lunch. This means, not filling cones or cups as usual. The flavors seemed decent although the sample cup was given to me from someone’s apron, which I won’t even get into. So we get a little bit of FroYo, the little one with blueberry poppers which I haven’t seen before and mine with a little mochi. You can also use anything in the store as a topping you’re just going to be charged accordingly with the weight variations. Up first is dad with two waffle cones, not filled to the top totaling up at $ 14. Woah! He asks is there extra for the cone? No it’s a topping. Then it’s my turn and the two cups with much less FroYo than usual(honestly I was super full that day thankfully) came out to $ 16. Whatever, even though I can generally get 4 huge servings piled with toppings at a competitor for $ 20 but whatever for the sake of trying I just pay. Nobody’s that happy about the price but I enjoyed the decent mochi and the little one liked the PB&J effect. I’m not sure if the scales aren’t calibrated properly but there’s honestly no way I had almost a pound of FroYo or toppings in either bucket. Everyone’s a little annoyed at that but I did stop to get some candy which at $ 3/lb also cost a pretty penny. There were also gluten free treats, which were about $ 5 a piece for a small brownie or blondie. Not even going to bother testing anything at those prices. Come on — I can get 6 gigantic Kyotofu cookies at Whole Foods now for less than $ 10. Here’s my bottom line, no you can’t charge city prices in the suburbs and in a mall at that and expect that everyone’s gonna be thrilled to pay it just because it’s cutesy. Also, I hate paying that much money and becoming physically ill within hours because of what I can only assume is a huge amount of artificial sweetener in your product. The teenagers can have this place, especially since the proliferation of FroYo places is going to go the way of Coldstone soon enough. Until then, there are better places in several of the outlying counties and you won’t have to pay for a parking garage.

I really love the concept of DIY yogurt places where you can mix and match flavors and toppings. However, there are a few things that an amateur needs to keep in mind. Firstly, they only have extremely large cups, like at least 10 ounces or more. This can be extremely dangerous to both your waist and wallet. I can see how people may be carried away and try to fill this container up with yogurt and then become shocked at the hefty price tag that accrued. Secondly, I am not fond of the toppings being so open to the public. If a system could be made where you place your yogurt beneath a dispenser I’d feel better about that. With all that being said, this place has some very good flavors including a nutella(not fat free*) and a yummy salted caramel(also not fat free*) which is definitely not to be missed. I will definitely return when I am at RH.
