Wonderful! The sort of mom and pop diner your parents ate at! Eggs any style, sandwiches hot and cold, fries, mozzarella sticks, bagels, muffins, coffee, soda, etc. Chances are if its breakfast, brunch or lunch they have it!

So far, I’ve only had the grilled cheese sandwich. That was absolutely spectacular. It was greasy and cheesy. Just the way momma use to make it back in Tx.
Today I’m here to try the grilled chicken sandwich

Best place in Yonkers for a egg and cheese on a roll, or a chicken club sandwich. Mike is the best, he always is polite and has a smile for the customers. Parking is easy, and they have scratch off tickets and a lottery machine.

What’s up… ok I had to write a review, I’m glad the store is addressed by it’s proper name… George’s…not Lenny’s, Lockwood luncheonette etc… I grew up on top of the hill and that store is like a landmark to that neiborhood… I remember George (RIP) giving me garbage pail kids when I was like 5 – 6 when my mom used to take me with her playing her numbers… the 1cent fish, 10 cent root beer iceys that you had to rub all over to get the paper off of… the 1.35 icecream Sundays (I was a fat kid)…in a day & age where things are getting closed & torn down left & right (Nathan’s) it’s great to see a place that has served generations still going!

Stopped by after 3 hours of driving for a coffee. A few old dudes were sitting at the counter sipping coffee, the employee was making fresh coffee-​sweet! The coffee was tasty and cheap, and the place seemed clean.
