Hair Dimension

I am very upset and I will never go back here. I went and paid to get my hair dyed purple. We did two test patches and I hated one of the colors so we decided to go with the other. As we are doing my hair he puts both colors on. I asked him if we could even out my hair color he gives me a long excuse on why he couldn’t do that. Why it would be bad. So I decided to trust him as a hair stylist. When we begin to dye the hair, He puts the one I didn’t like and then after a while put the one that I did. When we wash out the hair I hate the color. It’s some weird shade of red. He dries a few parts and I tell him I don’t like it. So he says he will dye my hair again to get it to where I wanted it. So he does while my hair is still wet. We wait a while then wash it out again. When he dries it, it’s right color but a lot darker then what I wanted. But it’s okay I could work with that. For the past few days my hair has been dyeing all my clothes purple. I ruined like 5 shirts. But when I washed it out today, ALL of the color was gone it it’s back to that red shade I hate. I can’t believe I paid $ 250 for this. I am absolutely pissed off. And when you get into the store they advertise that you can get a free gift if you download the app. When I showed it to the woman at the desk she said I couldn’t use it today from some reason.

As a new client, I was a bit nervous. I came in with a messy mop on my head and left feeling amazing. Shakia was extremely professional. She glanced at a pic I saved on my phone and boom, my hair was beautiful. From long locks to inverted bob styled to perfection. God bless her. It seems she really loves what she does. She is an artist. I went from everyday pony tail to glam. Thank you!

Change is good, but finding a salon and stylist you can trust can be traumatic to say the least. I found Shakia at Hair Dimensions and have not looked back! I had been contemplating finding a new stylist as I moved to Westchester last year and was familiarizing myself with the area. (Plus, it got to the point that I could rarely afford to visit my former Manhattan stylist who I’d been with for many years.) At the suggestion of an acquaintance, I checked out Shakia’s work on Instagram. It was so nice to be able to see her work without having to rely on someone else’s opinion; I could decide for myself. I liked what I saw, crossed my fingers and made an appointment a couple weeks later. The staff are friendly and personable — especially the ladies at the reception. The salon is clean, open and bright. Shakia herself is a gem — pleasant, really listens to what you want, and delivers. On my first visit, she cut and reshaped the layers and fixed my color by toning down the brassiness of my old highlights and touching up the roots. On my most recent visit I asked for a color change again. I came out of there like a new woman with a beautiful deeper color and lots of compliments from my friends. My hair is quite long but she also specializes in short cuts and bobs — I am contemplating making the big cut just to see how well she will transform me! Very happy to have found this salon and my new stylist.

Had the most AMAZING experience at this salon. The staff is extremely friendly. It was my first time here and I was scheduled with Vivian. Vivian is such a sweet person and very talented stylist. Vivian will absolutely be the only stylist to touch my hair. She was very informative about what she was doing to my hair step by step. I was surprised at the price too! I expected to pay more than what I was charged. My hair has found a new home to care for it! I’m only sorry I had not given this salon a try much much sooner.

I used to go to this place and went to the same hair stylist each time. Unfortunately, she left and the lady that did my hair had no idea what she was doing. I forgot her name… possibly Tara? She was irish with red hair. I am pale, but have dark features. Brown eyes, Black eyebrows. dark brown hair. I wanted blonde highlights that would be very noticeable but not tacky. I told her not platinum or a trashy blonde color. The blonde that she surprised me with was so light it appeared white/​gray in some areas and lime green in others. She insisted that she loved it although I was very upset. She saw how disappointed I was and told me that I could come back in a week or two and she would change it. I had my mom call for me two weeks later and the lady was very nasty. Why should I pay to have my color changed that YOUR stylist f*cked up??? Especially to get rude like that to a returning customer. I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM BUSINESS AGAIN! A bunch of old, rude, and clearly not educated workers.

Vivian was amazing! I went to Hair Dimensions the day of my engagement photo shoot for curls and she made me look great! She took her time, and my pictures came out great! Definitely recommend her for any hair styling!

Irina did an AMAZING job on my peekaboo highlights today! Absolutely amazing! I love it and the entire salon. So trendy and professional, for sure the best salon in Westchester with the best staff! Will definitely be returning to the salon and Irina! Thanks!

I just got my hair highlighted and trimmed It looks amazing. The color is vibrant and very healthy looking. I will definetly go back and I’m going to tell all my friends about this place. Thank you and your staff. I’m very satisfied.

Walked in with my over processed hair, hoping Shakia could fix the mess another stylist at another salon created. It was my first time there and the salon is pretty big and has a nice style. I have been getting my hair done in salons for years and this is by far the most progressive salon I’ve been in. They have apparatuses that reminded me of The Jetsons; which is nice to see. I’ve been looking for a salon that’s with the times. From the receptionist to the wonderful shampoo girl with the best hands, to my final hair style with the best colorist ever, Sakia; everyone was really nice and I felt really comfortable. I’ll be scheduling a Keratin treatment soon. This will definitely be my hair’s new home.

This place is amazing! Vanessa, Franco and their whole staff make everyone feel like family. They do amazing work. Everyone is super friendly and they give a spectacular cut, style and whatever you are looking for. In addition, Vanessa and the gang does a tremendous amount of charity work. I am a teacher who was organizing a charity event and I brought several students there today to donate their hair for Locks of Love and they outdid themselves. The kids left today so happy for their good deed and their great cut! I could not be happier!

Went in for a base color which came out way too dark for my skin tone. It was not close to the picture I showed to the hair stylist. They offered to fix but my hair was only going to get more damaged so I am stuck with my color and will be washing it out as much as possible to get all this dark pigment out… then going else where.
I did really enjoy the head massage when washing my hair, though.
