Instorage – Yorba Linda

INSTORAGE was recommended to me by my dad. He had a unit there about a year ago and said this place was great. He was right, it’s super clean, easy access and staff is great. Definitely recommend this place.

I too would give them a ZERO stars if I could. We have had a storage unit at InStorage since they opened. We have NEVER missed a payment and rolled with the yearly increases. We had been out of town for a few days and came home to open a letter saying that we had only made a partial payment and we needed to get our account current or a lien would be put on our unit. I immediately checked my auto bill pay and saw that they were paid in full and made a note to call and make sure all monies were applied correctly. I get my mail today to see that they have put a lien on my unit and I am locked out. I called immediately to get things straightened out and spoke with Jose… complete waste of time! Jose said that the manager Alex would not be in until Thursday and there was nothing he could do to unlock my unit. I was told that «they» have called me and left messages and sent letters regarding a «secure lease» charge they are now charging in addition to my monthly rate…100% NOT TRUE!!! Never received a phone message or letter regarding this «secure lease» charge. Told Jose to look at how long I have been a customer and my pay history and tell me that my account looks like someone who would ignore payment notices??? Unbelievable that they can just lock up my stuff! Beware before you put you items in this storage facility. (BTW…they have locked us out before saying they had not received payment. They are set up on auto pay with my bank that goes out on the 1^st of every month… it just takes them two weeks to apply it). Poor way to do business!

I was looking for a place to store my boat in doors and I found in storage. It’s very easy access and easy to get my boat in and out plus I felt the prices were on point. Also facility is very clean and management was a breeze to deal with!

So far, my friend is quite happy w the communication with the two staff members she’s talked with including Eddie. She knows the terms of using the truck and appreciates the move in deal she got. Just to let you know.
