I have gone to Yener for years. He has resized rings for my wife and I and re-designed and fabricated a ring for my wife. He is honest and fair and sets his prices accordingly. I take watches to him frequently for battery replacement and if he has the time he does it while I wait. I highly recommend him.

I just had the most wonderful experience at JSR! After reading such great reviews about their service here on Unilocal I decided to bring in my most treasured ring. This ring means the world to me! The largest and middle of three stones was loose and I feared it would fall out. As I walked in I was immediately helped, I handed my ring over and within three minutes it was given back to me completely fixed. As I got out my wallet to pay I was told that I did not need to and that the work was free. I was so thankful and left the store in awe! I cannot praise JSR enough. I recommend taking all your jewelry needs here! Have a great day!

Yener is the kindest man. He gives the best prices and is most importantly so honest. If you have any jewelry you want to know the value on or repurposed he is your man. He also can handcraft anything you want. His prices are unbearable and his tender heart is hard to come by. I have bought several items from him and he always makes sure you are happy. I am in my late 20’s and I think his jewelry is modern yet timeless. You will have his jewelry forever. Do yourself a favor and just stop in. You won’t be disappointed!

I took in my engagement ring to have sized by Yener. He was so nice. The price that he charges to size rings is exactly HALF the price of other jewelry stores (I called several). AND, where others take at least a week, if not more, to size a ring, I had mine back in 2 days. I don’t trust anyone completely these days, and I’m very happy to say, that I trust Yener completely. I would refer this store to anyone!!! You’ll be in good hands! I saw one post where they said he was rude. I did not see that in him at all. Very, very pleased!

I needed a gift for my niece and wanted something a bit special, which I found at Yener’s Jewelry Design on Main St. in Yorba Linda. What a charming and talented jeweler! The price was really reasonable for the «quality» gold and amethyst earrings I bought. His service is exceptional and it is likey he already has what you are looking for, all custom made on location. Real jewelry is a dying art, that needs revitalizing. Custom work is almost impossible to find, but Yener can cater to your taste for quality jewelry.

I took my grandfathers old pocket watch to Yener to see if he could get it working again.
He called me the next day and said that someone had tried to fix it before due to they took it apart and gave up and threw all of the loose pieces inside and closed it back up.
Yener not only got it put back together and working properly, he polished the case and put in a new piece of glass. This watch looks brand new again.
Very happy with the service, turn around time and the price was much lower than expected.
It now rests in a trophy case and looks great.

I don’t usually write a review, but I feel that JSR is a well kept secret and the word needs to get out,. I met Yener over 19 years ago when my husband and I started dating. He had Yener design a necklace and some earrings and a matching ring and surprised me with it. The pieces are stunning. Then when we got engaged Yener designed my engagement ring and again my husband surprised me with the ring while we were vacationing in Hawaii. Over the years, my husband has been having pieces made and continues to surprise me with the most beautiful stones and settings. I get so many compliments on each piece. I purchased an Australian Opal while we were in Sydney and brought it home for Yener to set and I can;t tell you how beautiful it came out. I highly recommend Yener for your next piece of jewelry. Yener is charming and highly professional and will give you his total attention.

Yener is a wonderful, courteous, charming, professional jeweler and he seems to be always booked/busy (especially around the holidays) so call him first for his availability.
He managed to fit me in for a ring resize and warned me that too much resizing can make the diamonds loose. He also only charged me $ 35 for the resizing; I can pay when I pick it up 3 – 4 days later. He said my fingers were so small, it’s like they were imaginary haha :) since I went from size 6 to size 4.75 (a «custom» resizing since I was between a 4.5 and a 5).
My husband actually bought this ring (white gold engagement band with 9 small diamonds) from him 2 years ago, with «bought» being a relative term. My husband had an old, gaudy diamond ring from his great aunt and had them removed by Yener. Yener put them in a white gold band and replaced one of the diamonds (which had cracked/was in some way defective, I can’t remember how it goes) and charged my husband only $ 140 for my beautiful engagement ring. I received many compliments thanks to Yener’s craftsmanship.
Definitely would recommend to a friend! He knows this stuff and is very professional!

I don’t know how I initially came across Yener, but it was years ago. Since then my friends and family that I have referred to him love him and his work.
Yener designed a beautiful ring for me all those years ago and recently made by hand my wedding bands as well as my husbands. They are unique, well crafted and lovely.
I adore Yener, he is so passionate about his profession, he is extremely honest and gifted. All his in-store designs are so unique, you won’t find a piece like his anywhere else.
I couldn’t help but be sad by another reviewer saying that Yener is «condescending», he is anything but. I don’t have a lot of money and he has always made me feel important and worked generously within my budget. He is from Hungary, so maybe his sense of humor was lost in translation, I think he is a crack up, especially because he is so professional you’re not expecting it.
Completely trustworthy and I will continue going to him and referring business to him for as long as I can.

I don’t typically write review unless I feel strongly and I have to say I’m very confused by the 1 review. Yerner (JSR jewelry design owner/designer) is not a condescending or rude gentlemen.
He is a talented and skilled craftsman (you can see it in his original designs and from the three times I’ve been at his store (on the small side), he has 4 – 6 customers raving about his work, or patiently waiting for their time with him. the gentleman I struck up a convo with while I was waiting said he followed him from his previous address and I overheard several others talking to Jim with great appreciation. The man is very talented, if theirs a personality conflict that’s one thing, but the jewelry should really be the priority when looking for a jeweler and his manners are not lacking.
He fixed a very badly broken artisan silver ring that I was given by my father 20 tears ago and I truthfully told him that it came back to me looking better than the day I had reviewed it (and he only charged me $ 10!!)
This last review just seemed very suspicious to me.

Dear JSR,
A friend suggested I try your business to get my custom pieces created or existing ones modified.
I tested you out with a pair of earrings and you were fine. Service was lacking but I thought I should give you another try — some people just have bad days.
So when I came to you again with a new piece and you were once again condescending, rude and obnoxious… I realized that you will not be getting any more of my business, nor do you warrant a friendly review on Unilocal.
Maybe you are more suited to a much older clientele, requiring custom pieces that may not be trendy but will certainly be unique.
However, even after I fall into this category, I will take my business elsewhere.
