Orchard Supply Hardware

We ordered patio furniture here 2 weeks ago during their big sale. They didn’t have the one we wanted in stock, so they ordered it from the warehouse and said it will be in on Tuesday. Then on Tuesday they said Thursday then Thursday they said Tuesday etc etc etc. Every time we call, we get the same woman, Suzie, on the phone with a bad attitude that can’t find our order. Then somehow they find it and it’s still not at the warehouse. This woman is so unpleasant and sarcastic every time I call… I just dread even following up. I love the store itself but the customer service is severely lacking and we will end up spending $ 1000 somewhere else. «Suzie Sunshine» needs to get her attitude in check when dealing with the public.

I purchased a ¾ gas line and did not use it .I needed a ½. I went to return the gas line and the guy from that department came over and said it looked used and I told him I purchased that one like that and because the ones they had were missing parts and there was no complete set. He continued to argue and raise his voice to me in front of other customers. There was one lady in line that put her stuff down and walked out because of the guy mistreating me. SO if you are going to buy anything form them make sure you are not going to return your purchase. Personally I will never go back I will stick with home depot. Thanks a lot orchards…

My neighborhood hardware store. Super friendly, knowledgeable, honest, helpful staff. Everyone of them. I’ve been in there alot, for various projects, never had one problem.
Whatever management is doing, they are doing it right!
My only complaint, I wish they would carry more products for furniture refinishing, like crackle paint, just cuz it’s something I do alot of and don’t always wanna schlep down to Michaels or Hobby Lobby

My favorite home improvement store, hands down. They have the nicest staff, incredibly helpful and never pushy. The selection is great and they always seem to have that «one special thing» that I’m looking for — whether it’s a patio heater or a weird size light bulb. I truly enjoy shopping there.

Deanna at this Orchard was such a great help in helping me make a 50 birthday decoration for my husband’s 50^th Birthday! It was a twig wreath with small lights forming the 50, it was a hit! Thank you Deanna!

I love this store. The staff is incredibly nice, every single visit.
I needed to get an additional house key made, and some garden tools.
I had the privilege of interacting with Brent. He politely addressed me, stating he’d be with me in a moment, as he finished up with another customer. He then made my key and asked what else I needed, so he could direct me properly. I had asked if they were expecting any benches that rock. He wasn’t sure, but browsed through the catalog to see that they were not. Next, he pointed to where the tools were. I purchased 2 of them and he had to run back, as one was missing a price tag.
I love the selection, there’s always an abundance of employees to help you out, and the place is clean and well-​stocked.

Customer service is totally lacking here. I had several issues. They had 3 signs in front of many plants, stating they were .74 cents, but when myself and another woman asked the young salesman he wasn’t sure and had to ask the manager. The manager came over and said the signs were in the wrong place. I asked him why there were several signs, were they all in the wrong place? He rudely said he would only give us one at .99. I corrected him and said, .74, not .99. Next, I get up to the register and explain that the one plant was .74 cents, per the manager. She rang it up for $ 2.54, which I didn’t see until I got out to my car. Back into the store, at that point she told me to go to customer service. So off I went to customer service and explained the whole thing again. The cashier wasn’t happy, like I inconvenienced her day. She calculated the amount to be returned on my credit card, and said, «.24 cents back on your card. Really??? I explained to her that I was charged $ 2.54 plus tax, for an item that should have been .74 cents plus tax, to which she replied, it says .24 cents. She was annoyed at me. Do your job, you know, the one you get paid for. The manager was at the next register, so I said, you can ask him. He told her yes, .99 cents. To which I replied, .74. I found him to be extremely rude and condescending. I wasted so much time, so not worth the aggravation. I will definitely be going to Home Depot, much better customer service there!

Love the store. It is clean and organized. The staff are very helpful. Prices are a little higher than Home Depot but you pay for the knowledge of the staff.

You know how when you’re a kid, you get a little bored on where ever your parents take you to for shopping, simply because there’s not much kid-​friendliness in a hardware shop? Well, once you get older and you actually have a place you can spice up, it can be super-​fun to decorate up, and Orchard has been a fun place for hubby and I to visit, especially for Christmas items!
Service has always been good. Always polite, and we have been able to get in and out pretty quickly without much issue.
Prices are okay. Some items are a little pricier than Lowe’s or Home Depot, but there’s a sense of cute rusticness when you shop around in Orchard, so you still pay the premium. Case in point: batteries in little Orchard-​branded crates? Yes please!
Love the nursery area, too. Lots of different flowers and items for your backyard. Christmas trees of different sizes for sale during the winter season.
Christmas sales are crazy awesome. Got Christmas lights at 75% off, as well as other Christmas merchandise at around 50−75% off. Teehee!
Next to Sprouts, parking is viable.
We’ve brought our dog with us a few times. No issues!

Best Christmas trees in Yorba Linda!!! I used to go to one of the tree lots locally and the tree would only last for a few weeks. The last two years I’ve gone to OSH and my tree stays green until February If you want your tree to last longer than 2 – 3 weeks try OSH! Reasonable prices and great service

I can’t recall having been to an OSH before, but I will definitely be back. My wife wanted to stop by to pick out a Christmas tree, and though OSH is a little far from our house they had the type of tree we wanted.
We ended up going with a different type of tree because they were out of the kind we came for. The tree we ended up with is great. Anyway… the tree isn’t the reason for the 5 stars but rather the staff. The staff here is awesome! After showing us a couple trees, Brent loaded the tree on my car and we shared some funny stories and a couple laughs.
OSH may not have the inventory or selection of Home Depot or a private tree lot, but what they lack is made up for in spades with great employees.

Bight and organized inside. The store has everything you need and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Just our first visit here and the employees are so friendly and helpful! For now I’m content adding tiny low water plants to my little garden but in the future I would love to add some of Orchard’s comfy weather resistant back yard furniture.
My boyfriend was in love with their huge selection of grills lol. We will def come back again!

This place has a little bit of everything. Not as much as Home Depot but they definitely carry just about anything you would need around the house. They also carry Craftsman tools which is a plus in my book.
Good service and the people there have always been friendly. I purchased a barbecue here a few months ago during their WE PAY THE TAX SALES. I also had to buy mouse traps from here. This place has taken carry of me on many occasions. Thank you OSH.

Lupe is the best! So helpful, knowledgable and friendly. She wants you leaving with what you need and HAPPY! I love OSH. I love the neighborhood feel you get when in there. Great staff! Great company. I love having them so close to my house. I go there way too much. ;)

There’s just something about this Hardware store I love. It’s bigger than Ace or Crown, but not as overwhelming as Lowes or Home Depot. It’s owned by Sears so you can expect a lot of Craftsman tools and other items, but they have enough variety that I do find myself actually shopping in addition to picking up the exact items I need.
Join their email club/​club card and they’ll send you coupons for 15−20% a single item every now and then. I’ve found the employees to be super helpful.
This particular location has a great selection of bird feeders and seed which I haven’t found anywhere else (except maybe Wild Birds Unlimited) so if your an outside bird lover, definitely make this a routine stop.

I love this place! We bought a new house about a month ago, so it seems like every day we need something for it. I officially boycotted Home Depot, I am so sick of going there. But I honestly wouldn’t mind if I had to come to Orchard every day!
The prices are great, the selection is good, and the employees are all very sweet. I like that it’s a smaller store. No, you won’t have 20 items to choose from, maybe just 4 or 5, but it’s good enough for me! I also love their gardening/​outdoor area.
This is a great store, you will find me here any day over Home Depot for sure!

Nice people, great service. OSH has some products that the bigger box stores do not. I can spend too much time looking around! I bought electrical supply items, a Leatherman knife, pool supplies. Very nice store.

I’m a big fan of this store. Brand new beautiful Orchard with everything you could want from a home and garden store.
Orchard is Home Depot lite– if you’re doing construction, this isn’t the place for you, but for home or garden upgrades, it does the job.
I’m a real sucker for a nice looking store– I’ll go out of my way to shop somewhere nice. Luckily, this is right down the street from me. I’ve picked up a new grill here and numerous items for our home. They always seem to have what I’m looking for.
The store is clean and well laid out– easy to find what you’re looking for, which is important in a place like this. I don’t want to spend my time on a scavenger hunt.
The employees are nice enough– could be a little friendlier, but no one has been rude.
I need to make it a point to remember this store– as much as I love it, I seem to forget about it.

It’s time to put on my gardener’s hat and make sure my Raindrip automatic watering system is setup for this years crops. Osh in Santa Ana was the place I used to shop when replenishing the drip tips and such, but that location closed and now the last standing store Osh has in Orange County is in Yorba Linda.
This store is immaculate. I mean gorgeous TV commercial immaculate. There are cars in the parking lot, but there is hardly anyone shopping. It’s kinda cool, but kinda sad as it made me think that maybe this store would close soon as well.
I found everything I was looking for and then some today short of the tomato cage wire in a roll, but that’s OK, I didn’t want it that much anyway. And yes, they have in stock the full line of Raindrip products for their mini and larger watering systems.
