Sea Latch Inn

The new hotel is beautifully updated with an elevator and balconys. They have a pool overlooking the Ocean which is just a short walk across the street. Friendly, welcoming place and we plan to return next year. Just a short distance from Portsmouth NH.

Just came back from a wonderful vacation at the Sea Latch Inn in York beach Maine! It is right across from the beach. Very friendly and professional staff from the front desk to the housekeepers! We stayed in their new building which had an elevator, public decks on each floor (there are 3 floors) with a wonderful view of the ocean and the rooms were great!!! There was a very nice pool that looked brand new. I think we found our new vacation spot! The surrounding area was very nice as well. We are definitely going back to this hotel!

We booked a girl’s weekend in York a few weekeneds ago, and booked this hotel… Our experience with this place was not good, so we will never go back to this particular hotel again. I knew it was going to be pricey as it was right on the beach, but the rooms were so dumpy and out-​dated. Also, when we checked in, the woman was so rude and trashy, did NOT make you feel welcome or glad to be there. She kept telling us that there is no drinking, boys or drugs (We’re in our 30’s and should be able to drink when we see fit haha) then one of the girls said «Jesus» and she told her to stop swearing. Then she argued with me that i did not book the room for 5 people and that they did not have any cots available. Thank God I brought my receipt with me showing I booked the Room for 5 people. When she saw that, she said «Oh, she shouldn’t have done that.» …about the woman who booked the room for us over the phone. WOW. Then we only had 2 towels and 5 girls, so i went back to office for more towels and she said, you should have plenty, we don’t have any towels here. I could go on and on. NOT IMPRESSED. And we paid $ 300.00 for this service. NEVER AGAIN.
