Went there with a Groupon for discounted oil change. Don’t believe they even changed it. Light came on shortly afterward, husband checked oil and it was dirty.

BEWARE! Ok, I was once a long time customer of this place. I truly believe that at one time it was a decent garage. I do not take the time to write many reviews, but this needs to be called out, especially in Pennsylvania, where unscrupulous inspection stations have the customers at their mercy. A couple of years ago, I had a timing belt changed, After they did the work, a horrible squealing noise began coming from under the hood of my car. I brought it to their attention and they told me that my compressor was going bad. I found this odd, since it was fine before they performed the work. Anyway, they told me it was just coincidental. Well, I did not have the nearly $ 1,000 to shell out, so I drove the car 3 hours to my friend’s garage in NJ. It wasn’t the compressor after all, it was shoddy workmanship by All Tune… so my friend and I completed the job that All Tune should have, saved the grand, and all is well. Fast forward two years. I purchase a coupon online for a PA inspection($ 25 for emissions and regular inspection) from All Tune and Lube. We had just replaced the truck tires and the wheel bearings. A mechanic friend who does not own a garage gave the truck a quick look over and said it should be good to go. Even though I had a bad experience with my car, I figured, «hey, for $ 25, and after a mechanic already did some wheel work and said we were good to go, what do I have to lose». So I decided to give them another chance. We took the truck in to All Tune and to our shock, they said we needed U joins, ball joints, replacement of brake drums, pads, and that the brakes were leaking. The grand total would have been estimated at $ 1300+ dollars! You see, we brought the truck in there with a warning card from an officer, so these guys KNEW that we needed to pass and took advantage of the situation. Of course, something did not seem right. So instead of giving the go ahead, we held off. My girlfriend was looking to visit her mother across country and simply could not with an «unsafe and uninspected vehicle». Being that we did not have the money for the repairs, her mother was kind enough to suggest that we take it to a more reputable garage and have them do the necessary repairs AND to do any other repairs to make the truck safe for a cross country trek and she would pay for it all. We took the paperwork to another garage and told them the deal. Anything wrong, whether inspection worthy or not, give us an estimate and we’ll get it fixed. So we waited a few hours. Later in the day we were told to come get the truck. ITPASSEDWITHNOPROBLEMS! We showed the mechanic the paperwork from All Tune and Lube and he laughed! He told us they were simply trying to take advantage of us and that there was NOTHING wrong with the truck! And this coming from a shop that could have milked us for the repairs All Tune told us were needed to pass ANDTHENSOME!!! So instead of forking over almost $ 1500 to All Tune for uneccesary repairs, we paid $ 50 for an inspection and have a safe truck to safely drive. I hate to take the time to write a review that may hurt a business. But by the same token, in the state of PA, with the inspection rules, one has to be VERY careful and skeptical with inspection stations. We rely on their expertise, trust, and honesty. When all three are blatantly violated, I see it only fair to give a heads up to anyone considering doing business with this type of place. Do NOT be lured in with a cheap coupon. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Lesson learned.
