Update. I called a few days after I got the horrible eyebrow job they told me I could come in and get them done again. But that lady who did them is the only lady who does them. So I asked for a refund and they said they would mail a check out. It’s been months and still no check. Never would I recommend this place to anyone

They take walk ins, which is really nice. I only came to get my nails done, but I gotta say the salon was really clean and inviting. The staff was pleasant and very attentive. I’m giving Avanti 3 stars only because I’m not really satisfied with my manicure. I had gel removed and the lady talked me into getting shellac, said they won’t chip for three weeks, and I’ve already lost some polish. My manicurist took her time, but my nails are all uneven and the polish is sloppy around my cuticles and if I turn my hand to the side, you can see lines of my actual nail. She tried to talk me into getting French style tips — thank goodness I said not today because they cost an extra $ 7 for that line of white. If I go back, it probably won’t be for nails!

A gorgeous exterior and Zen-​like atmosphere brought us into Avanti! Avanti!‘s hair stylists are fun, conversational, and really good at their job. We had general ideas about our hair and they were able to refine our style to model-​like pizzazz with everyday wearability. It’s not cheap, like local franchise salons, but good value.

My mother and I went to york for a wedding. We scheduled to have our hair washed and styled before the wedding. We arrived early and our hairdressers took us back early. They did a great job with our hair. The salon was very clean and modern. I would definitely go back if I’m ever in york
