Pizza was good and delivered quickly. We were disappointed when we realized their square pizza is just a round pizza cut into squares

Boardwalks is quickly becoming our favorite local go-​to. I love their square pizza, with its flaky, buttery crust and slightly sweet tomato sauce. I haven’t tried the round but a friend says it is her hands-​down favorite. (Of course, she has had the square! ;)) The crab balls are yummy with plenty of large lump crabmeat. Lucky for me the rest of my family isn’t into crab!
Tried breakfast on several occasions and been mostly pleased. I didn’t care for the broccoli cheddar bacon omelet because I would have preferred the broccoli cooked soft, rather than crisp, in an egg dish. The western omelet was super, however, boasting three breakfast meats with the traditional peppers and onions. I would recommend their home fries over the ordinary, run-​of-​the-​mill hash browns.

I love the broiled crab cakes. No filler. All meat. I have tried many others in the area and I think the crab cakes at Boardwalks are the best.

Don and his friendly staff do a great job. Tasty and fresh food well prepared. Crab cakes are the best around and the pizza and pasta dishes are yummy! Very fast service as well.

Disappointing, hamburgers are not chargrilled and they had no flavor. There were five of us and each meal came out separately, not cool. Will say crab balls appetizer was great. They need to work on their service.

The crab cakes are delicious, but the pizza not very good. Plus they bring it out on plastic trays without any paper underneath. Gross. Waitresses are nice, shorts are TOO short. The pizza needs more sauce, crust too thin.

Sitting here at the bar with three kids under 11, make your own pizza a hit! Free wine a hit for me! It’s Friday at near six, every table is packed and the servers are hopping! The pizza is hot fresh and tasty. Great energy, great relaxed atmosphere… yummy left overs.

Heard a lot of people talking about how good the pizza is here, but it did not do anything for us. Took the family here, in my search for the best pizza in York County. Ordered a couple of pies, and they were okay, but nothing great. The crust is not a traditional crust, and I cannot put my finger exactly what it is about the crust, but it’s sweet or something. I guess I just prefer a traditional crust. To each his own. Did like the free beer or wine that the adults in our party received. Because of that, took the overall rating from a 2* to 3*.

The locals love this place, but it’s really average food! The pizza is good, but the crab cakes and other popular menu items are really just ok.

What a disappointment. I was a real fan of Boardwalks but I seriously question if I will ever return. Today was the second time we waited over 55 minutes for our meal to be served. The restaurant was not full.
The service was terrible and when the food was delivered it was not correct. The waitress even told us it was wrong! We were told it would take quite a long time to redo it.
What’s wrong Boardwalks???

My husband and I went to Boardwalk on Saturday after I read about your restaurant in the Fly Magazine. We went because it said that your pizza is the same as Ledo’s so we decide to go there for dinner. The pizza was great the service was wonderful. I would recommend this place to everyone that I know.

Don’t go if you’re really hungry. We got our drinks — husband ordered Dr Pepper got Mountain Dew — after 10 min I went up to our waitress who was hanging out with other waitresses behind the counter and asked her to take our order. Finally get food and the corn on the cob was cold but the crab cakes were very good. We had much better service last time we came here. Tonight’s was a big disappointment.

Traveling thru from Florida. So pizza was the vote for dinner. Not bad at all.

Horribly slow service. Took 10 minutes for our waitress to acknowledge our table and another 5 for her to bring our drinks. Seriously annoying when you can see them hanging behind the bar socializing amongst each other. We had the cheeseburger sub and chicken finger basket which were good – but a little pricey. They also haven’t updated their menu since they changed locations and some of the menu items are no longer available. Overall the food was good but if you’re in a hurry, don’t eat here.

The crab cakes really are amazing but if you go in for anything else, don’t hold your breath. Prices are high, service while friendly takes forever! Really, the husband & I went in the other day for crab cake & a burger. There were 4 tables filled. Took 35 minutes to get our food and the burger was bad, the mushrooms not cooked well, and the French fries bland. Since it took so long to get our food we had to rush making the eating if the actually good crab cake not near as enjoyable as it should. I know they’re scheduled to move next month to a bigger location but if their staff couldn’t handle 4 tables I’m scared to think what would happen with 15.

The quality of the food served in this place is worthy of a more upscale restaurant. Someone in the back really knows how to cook :)
The place is small, clean, and every table is full. Everything I’ve ordered so far has been excellent (crab cakes, broccoli, steak, salad).

The food and service are good. The place is small and could use some remodeling. Try the pizza, it has a different flavor to it which is really tasty. Prices are very reasonable.

This little pizza shop tucked away in a little shopping plaza by Food Lion has the best pizza. It’s my favorite in York, which says a lit because there is one on almost every corner. You have to order the rectangle pizza though. The crust is buttery and flaky goodness with the perfect amount of cheese and toppings! And the nice thing is that you can also get a free beer or glass of wine. You can’t beat it!
