Awesome place! We came off season so the menu was limited but still delicious! The live music makes for a great atmosphere! Will definitely be back!

Just so-so. Yes, we dined at the tail end of a busy Labor Day weekend. Right away, our waitress told us they were out of about 10 items or so. Luckily, they weren’t out of the items we wanted. My husband had the twin lobster and he loved it. I had the steak tips and liked them, but didn’t love them. They came paired with French fries covered with cheese. French fries were delicious, but just not what I was in the mood for. Kids loved their meals. Waitress was very kind and efficient. Also, since it’s the season, flies were literally on us the entire time. I know it’s a nit-picky thing, but it was just uncomfortable as the flies were on our food and under the table(we are inside). Perhaps ceiling fans would help this situation? But, possibly easier to suggest than to do, just my two cents. Good beers and wine.

This place is very nicely decorated and, from afar, seems like a cool place to hang out. However, once you experience the wait staff, frozen food meals and poorly made drinks it becomes obvious that it is nothing more than another tourist trap. I’ve frequented this place numerous times always with the same result — disappointment. The last time I was in there I order a Makers Manhattan. It was $ 13.50 and absolutely undrinkable. There was barely any whiskey, no trace of any bitters, no cherries and I’d say it was greater than 50% vermouth. Going in for a beer and to listen to some live music is about the only recommendation I can provide — I wouldn’t waste my money on the food or mixed drinks.

This restaurant was a huge let down overall. The good: mixed drinks, and they didn’t skimp on the wine in terms of amount. Our waitress was nice and attentive. The bad: 1– Mussels were the size of a dime. 2– Crab cakes had hardly any crab in them… Tasted like breadcrumbs. 3– Lobster roll had THREEPIECES of lobster meat in it. This is no exaggeration. I wish I had taken a picture of it. And it was $ 18 dollars! The amount of lobster meat in that roll was the stingiest I’ve ever seen, especially while being right on the coast. So disappointing. 4– The baked stuffed haddock was terribly overlooked, to the point that it was curled up into a ball. 5– The veggie and goat cheese flatbread was dry, and had no flavor. My family spent over $ 200 dollars on this meal. We are from Maine and were extremely disappointed– we want to advise others who are perhaps not from Maine and are on vacation– don’t waste your time here. It is overpriced for VERY subpar food.

We were referred here from family. What a great time, we will be back. The staff were all friendly, the food was great and the drinks were spot on. I like the spiced up marinara with the calamari. The croutons were perfect in the Cesar salad and I highly recommend the buffalo chicken flat bread.

Absolutely amazing! Service with a smile. Food was fantastic atmosphere was great. It was like we had 10 waitresses not 1. Every person helped but our waitress was excelent. Speedy service! A bit pricey however 5 stars for how we were treated! I will drive the 1.5 hrs again for sure!

This place is terrible. The service is awful both upstairs and down. I feel like it’s in the job description to be a jerk to customers. Food is mediocre. Good beers on draft but that’s about it. I’ll be taking my business to the union bluff from now on!

Meal here was better than most places in the York Beach area. Don’t get the Caesar Flatbread though unless you just want a salad on flatbread. cuz that’s what it is. However, the Korean tips and lobster tail were yummy as was the lobster mac and cheese! Also, I think these guys have the best fries in town.

Horrible horrible food and service. Nicely tried to talk to manager and he was an absolute jerk. We go to York every year with friends and no one will ever go again!

I never review resteraunts, but I felt obligated due to the low quality of food. The calimari tasted horrible, and it’s hard to make horrible fried food. The garlic parmesan fries were subpar, but that being said the beer was ok. If ur looking for a spot close to the beach, this is it, the food is costly and below average but the view is prime.

Stopped in with my girlfriend to have a drink. Live music was awesome. Enough room to get up and dance. The place was packed we ended up staying to closing time. Would definitely go again, specially if they have live music again!

We went for lunch and we were not disappointed. The BLT is FABULOUS! Buttery bread and crispy bacon. The PEI mussels in a wine/herb broth were savory and delicious. We’re so happy that we stopped here.

Every summer this was our favorite spot to go, till this year. We just came from having dinner and we are still very disappointed with the service. Initially we were happy to have the same waiter we have had numerous times, but we definitely did not get the same service, We felt ignored and forgotten. Cups stayed empty, took forever to get napkins and to have our plates cleared. Food just wasn’t as amazing as the past. All winter the one thing we looked forward to was having dinner here and was let down.

Amazing from start to finish. This is one of my favorite spots on the York Beach strip. Right across from Short Sands Beach and the view is great. We had a wonderful server and they have a great beer & wine selection. Salads were fresh and quite possibly the best Caesar salad I have ever had. The dressing was just perfect. I got the lobster Mac and Cheese which was $ 21, and it was worth every single penny. They do not skimp on the lobster and it comes in an amazing white cheese sauce with curly shells. My boyfriend ordered the $ 19BBQ tips and rosemary fries. Both were cooked exactly to his order. This was a wonderful dinner. We would have loved to have sit outside, but the rain and cold kept us inside. Still a wonderful night and they had a live band as well! Not many of these little places get live music! We will be back for sure!

This place is great. The location is so perfect and the view of York is great. I went for lunch time and the prices were very reasonable. For lunch, I got the Cesar salad flatbread and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend it and get it again. My guest got the buffalo chicken flatbread and that was even better!!! It is one of those dishes you have and crave a few days later. The serving size was plenty and the service was pleasant. I would recommend this place based on food and location!

Great food. Great value. Best chowder in York. HUGE Lobster roll. Amazing fries. I can’t believe we’ve never come here before. Definitely adding it to our go to places to eat.

Awful and overpriced 17.00 for a grilled chicken Cesar salad, salmon with burned veggies and gross French fries with cheese and garlic. Drinks were terrible and party of. Three 145.00 I would have a better meal at mcdonalds!!!

Best and biggest lobster roll I have ever had. Service was very good. Been coming here for the past few years and never disappointed. Nice to sit on the patio and people watch.

I came here for Father’s Day with my father and brother. He wanted to go to Maine and we ended up here, none of us having been and Dad picked it randomly so I didn’t bother to check the Unilocal page on it. I’m not surprised it’s on the low end. I don’t know where the great view is everyone is speaking of is. We sat on the top deck and yes you can see the ocean, about 1000 feet away beyond the loud street traffic below, a crowded parking lot and tourist filled beach. The view is terrible. Speaking of the upper deck, it’s crooked. The entire thing leaned to the right slightly and we were told they do not allow small children up there due to the fact. Some kind of thick wire that used to hold a sign also spans the entire upper deck just at the level where your arm will keep bouncing off it if you sit on the outer half. The service was fine, the waitress very friendly and polite. The food was mediocre at best. The haddock in the fish is chips did not taste like haddock, as other reviews have said, and was a bit dry. The prices are beyond ridiculous, even for a seafood place in a tourist town in the summer season, for both the food and drink. I’ve paid less for better food sitting directly on the water in Gloucester and Newport. It would be hard to convince me to come here again if we were in the area and had other options.

Being a native of a lobstering town in Maine. I was very surprised when I ordered what was on the menu as a 11⁄4 lb stuffed lobster. The lobster was maybe a lb at best. It was tasteless and poorly prepared. When I pointed it out to the waiter he was very pompous about it. He did not care about his job or the place he worked and stated such. After I pointed out my disappointment to him, he agreed it was a lb or less, so he offered us one free beer. I was not the one eating the lobster but I was the one paying I do not recommend this place to anyone.
