This motel is as vintage as you can find, glass bricks, neon and all. I have stayed in many small older motels, and is one where I really felt comfortable and happy. Our room was spacious, and the everything was very clean and well maintained. The bedroom décor is mid-​century modern… the REAL kind and in great, well cared for condition. The bathroom was brand-​new and squeaky clean. The room had a nice tv with many channels. Our Modernaire stay was a pleasant experience and I will stay there again if ever back in York.
