Subway

My hat is off to this location today. I just ate lunch here (Nov 3, 2015, 12 – 12:30pm). Today is National Sub Day so Subway is offering the deal of buy 1 of any sub and a 30 oz drink, get any sub of equal or lesser value for free. This deal, of course, means that everyone and their mama decided to eat here today. Plus, like I said, my husband and I ate there during lunchtime and this Loucks Rd location is so close to all the malls, shops, car dealers, various businesses, etc on the west side of York, so this Subway was really busy today. But you know what!!! We had a fantastic lunch here! 99% of the praise goes to a woman who I’m assuming was the manager (she was wearing an orange shirt, everyone else had on green shirts). The 3 green shirt employees were a bit frantic, a teensy bit panicked, and seemed very overwhelmed by the large crowd. It didn’t help that everyone ahead of us were ordering foot longs, so they kept running out of ingredients. However, this orange shirt woman was the calming presence that this place needed. She smiled, she joked, she held the team together and helped out the green shirt employees when they couldn’t find what they needed, and at the same time, she created beautiful sandwich masterpieces. And most importantly, our subs were deeeelish! And bonus points for having clean bathrooms.

Great place to eat! Prices are great and the food is fresh. Usually grab a 6″ sub in the afternoon for a quick lunch. I love the Italian subs. The best!

I go here often for lunch. It’s good for a quick in and out lunch. Never had any issues here.
