I was up visiting a friend in Yorktown Heights today and she took me to Trailside Café for lunch. I liked the Green Machine juice and the falafel wrap was delicious. They had a really cute patio.

I frequently come here when I bike through the country trailway. If you’re into eating healthy, this is the place to go. Go order the breakfast wrap, it’s delicious and nicely priced. The menu is varied. Also they have bagged food and smoothies, but I wouldn’t indulge in that nonsense if you’re actually serious about health. The service however is inconsistent, depending on who is working. But the employees do sometimes go out of there way to see that you’re satisfied, so gotta give them kudos for that.

I’ve been to Trailside Café a few times and I have to say it gets better each time. Great selection of juice and smoothie options. I love the chick pea falafel wrap too. Can’t wait to see what Jons next creation is! Nice little patio in the back too.

I’ve been to this place a few times and each time I go I say why did I go there it’s super expensive the food is not good and it takes them a half an hour to make a sandwich and a drink. It’s a good location across from the bike trail but that’s all it’s got going for it.

I stopped into the Trailside Café last week because I was in the mood for a smoothie. It’s hard to find juice bars in Northern Westchester and I had been referred to this place by a family friend. Unfortunately, the service was not what I would’ve expected from a small, and what seemed to be, family-owned business. The café was not busy but it took the employee who was working quite a while to even acknowledge that I was waiting to be served. Not to mention, when he finally acknowledged I was there, his demeanor was not a very friendly one. The smoothie, however, was quite delicious!

Was looking for a good place to get a smoothie and decided to give this place a try(I’m visiting), walking into the place was so cute, love how they set it up. the people at the counter are really friendly. However the wait time is waayyyyyy too long. I ended up getting a smoothie and an acai bowl because I couldn’t decide. The smoothie was really good but stay away from the acai bowls as they are not actual acai bowl I couldn’t believe how watered down it was. Very unacceptable & not at all what it should taste/look like. ANDDD over priced $ 20 something dollars for both if I wasn’t in a hurry I would have went back. –owner should take into consideration not only this review but all they others.

After walking the track w my buddy we went here for smoothies and a quick bite. The place is small and cute with indoor and outdoor seating but it was raining so we had to stay inside. They have a large raw juice and smoothie menu and everything is super fresh. They have soups, salads, and sandwiches all fresh and healthy. Many of them are vegan and gluten free. I ordered the morning delight smoothie which was great. I also had a cup of the broccoli cheddar cashew soup which was tasty but overpriced. The items are not cheap: $ 6 – 7 smoothies, $ 8 – 9 juices and the food is a bit pricey but again, everything is super fresh. My friend got a panini similar to the ones at Pksl Coffee House. She also got a berry smoothie which was very good. I like the place and when i go back on a nice day i anticipate giving a 4th star bc i will sit outside.

The location is ideal for those riding or walking the North County Trail Way, just as you enter Yorktown proper. With four tables(and umbrellas) in front, tables inside and a spacious back patio, there is room for everyone, including groups. The interior is bright and airy and the digital menu and colorful signs signal fun and healthy choices are in your future. Liquid choices range from teas — organic, to fresh fruits, wheat grass and a passel of smoothies. The solid menu covers salads, paninis, wraps and plates of healthful proteins, grains and veggies My Morning Delight(banana, mango, pineapple) smoothie was terrific and the Cauli-rice salad, really a couscous, veggie and hint of curry mix, really hit the spot after our 4-mile walk Prices are reasonable and another visit is in the cards!

Finally somewhere to go to eat for clean eaters in Yorktown! They have a great selection of organic and non-gmo snacks smoothies and salads. I have been getting their green breakfast, every time! Definitely go in if you are looking for a healthy meal, but the seating is limited so if you see it looks crowded its worth getting to go. Also the parking lot is across the street, so don’t let that stop you from getting yourself a quality healthy meal. Yorktown has been needing a place like this for a long time, so its presence is long over due.

Came here on a rainy day. I was so excited to try their juices and snacks since my wife told me to shed a couple pounds. I walked in not knowing what to expect. Only thing I knew so far is I drove 10 mins back and forth looking for parking since u can’t park on the street and I was thirsty so I was craving some vitamin C. I walked in and the owner and employee we’re standing there talking I was hoping for a welcome come in. In a less than 400sqft store, however after 8 mins no one has noticed me at all. I studied the menu and had some questions but still 12 mins later no help. I finally got fed up and left. Stood outside the door for 2 mins(umbrella-less) in poring rain debating whether giving them a second chance but still no one came to seek help what a terrible way to run a business.

Yorktown is filled with good food but often times pretty unhealthy so it’s relieving to see a place like this. Great on weekends to sit outside, they have some pretty good options for juices and smoothies. Sandwiches are nice too — not the most affordable place in town but definitely the healthiest and well worth the money in my opinion. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

It is very nice to have a juice bar type café right by the«Rail Trail.» The healthy and organic options are great.

This café has great fresh juices and an extensive array of loose organic teas. Plus food, wraps muffins scones etc. While the postal address is as noted, the storefront is on Underhill Ave just off the corner of Kear and opposite the parking for the bike path.

If you are looking for a meal, this is not the place. They are very healthy, with smoothies and granola bars and salads. If you are looking for sandwiches or something of more substance, I would not recommend. Pricey as well.

I stumbled into this little hole in the wall after a bad day because there was an ice cream sign out front. I usually prefer healthy eating but was craving comfort food. I was surprised to find that ice cream was just a disguise. Really, its a fantastic juice bar offering gluten free, super healthy food options and bakery items. Not a lot, but just what you need. Everything I have ordered was fresh and delicious. I am visiting the area this week so I stop here every day for my Green Machine juice. They also make creative juicing cocktails like the Greena Colada and Coco Mango. And they have free Wi-Fi! I will miss this little place when I return to California. The ladies behind the counter are so nice too I have to mention that this is my favorite spot to hang out in Yorktown for sure.

Healthy snacks abound here with a little ice cream for the rest of us. A small ice cream shop & healthy food store tucked in a side street in Yorktown. They are supposed to moving around the corner onto Underhill Ave across from the parking lot for the North County Trailway, hence the name. Salads made with kale and other healthy choices and smoothies made with apple juice and fresh fruit. The size of the venue makes it easy to get crowded, but it’s worth the wait.
