Beware of the payphone, my son used it with his credit card, left a message at 2 places he called $ 20 each, and talked to his gf for 20 minutes $ 78, $ 121.35 Total, + 3 $ 1 charges still pending, for? Legacy Collect Calls is the company that operate the service that allows you to use your credit card at the phone booth. I guess this should be an emergency only phone! No prices were posted, or were offered up, until he received his bill.

I agree with Brandon on the confusion part. My daughter and I walked into the campground at night and it’s really dark. We didn’t see the envelopes nor the slot to put our money until the morning. It’s really cool that this is available for backpackers, especially so we can get acclimated to the altitude before setting out on a hike. I love that it’s only $ 5 too! Since we couldn’t really find a spot, we just opened a bear bin and put our bags in. Someone elses stuff was already in there so we shared. I do wish there was more direction on how it works and that the bear bins are sort of communal(they are aren’t they?) In late August it was very warm at night, but the closer it got to sunrise the colder it was. It became downright freezing and we were shivering in our sleeping bags.
