Update on the job. The car was in the shop, with estimate conducted, on Monday morning. They said they would put a rush on it because we lived 5 hours away and had a rental car. I didn’t hear anything from them by Friday, so I was concerned. The place is only open until noon on Saturday and not open on Sunday, so in order for me to get up there in time to get it on Saturday, I had to know Friday. I ended up calling them fairly early in the day, and they said the car was just about done, that they just had to do the final inspection and test drive, then they would call me back. They never called back on Friday. So that scrapped going up over the weekend. I waited for them to call me on the following Monday… they didn’t. I had to call the car rental company and add more time(to the tune of $ 300). I called them again on Tuesday morning and the guy gave me the exact same line he gave me on the previous Friday. Just like the previous Friday, he didn’t call back. I called again on Wednesday, about to light them up, threaten to contact the Better Business Bureau, etc. but the guy said«oh, we finished this job yesterday». I was not informed. Long story short, I took the day off of work on Friday, and drove round trip to return the rental car and bring my car back. The quality of work was fine, although the interior of the car still smells like an auto shop two months later. The price of the service was fine compared to what I’m used to in Northern Virginia. There was just a complete lack of pro-activity. It’s like they knew they had me against the ropes because I lived far away. I’m not going to go so far as to say«never use this company», but you do need to be careful.
