I’m from California and just happened to find myself in Youngstown, Ohio one afternoon. By chance, we ended up at the Rust Belt Brewery for lunch. So glad we found this place! Best food I’d eaten on the whole trip. I still dream about the roast beef sandwich. And the beer was amazing. Ended up taken several crowlers with us for the road. Didn’t catch the name of the woman at the bar, but she was so happy and engaging that from now on I’ll remember Youngstown fondly.

Meh service and attitude. Though the jalapeño beer was decent. Really got attitude for being there with an hour left until close. Also asked for larger bill to be broken for a tip, only to get attitude and a lecture about how the full $ 20 should be a tip for my $ 6 tab. Disappointing.

Travelling through Ohio and found Rust Belt Brewery in dtown Youngstown. Great spot. Not to crowded on Halloween, but great beer and food. I had beer cheese and pretzel bread app and wife had bbq chicken panini. Both excellent. Beer was their own brew, rusted river red. Again very good. Live music was also excellent.

My boyfriend and I stumbled into this bar to grab a quick lunch before we went to a nearby wedding. Let’s just say it was the luckiest mistake of all time. Everything was amazing! I had a seasonal cocktail with cider and whiskey. My boyfriend had a Yeti beer and one of the Rust Belt beers and loved them. I was really impressed by the local selection of beers(I even discovered a mead from a brewery in my hometown which I didn’t even know existed!!). For lunch we split the buffalo chicken dip and I ordered the make-your-own grilled cheesse and he had the chipotle turkey pub sandwich. The buffalo chicken dip was probably the best I’ve ever had. I could have eaten it by the spoonful! The grilled cheese was great too(I ordered provolone, pesto and tomatoes — so juicy and flavorful!) and my boyfriend raved about his sandwich too. We aren’t from the area and are honestly super disappointed we don’t have more excuses to come back to Youngstown just to eat there. If they want to open up an establishment in Dayton, we’d be totally ok with that for the record. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area. WORTHIT!

I can’t say enough good about this place! It’s become our second home! lol. Great service, great locally crafted beer, and amazing live music. The owners go above and beyond to make sure everyone is having a great time and feels welcome. The atmosphere is friendly and it’s a great place to unwind. This establishment is a huge attribute to the revival of downtown Youngstown!

Great. Stopped in for a few samples and both were great. Lots of other regional liquids. Looks like they have a regular nice stoked bar including beers. No food but there was a truck out front.

The beer was acceptable but the atmosphere was diminished by the fact that the bartender was making out with someone on a bar stool, who happened to be wearing a puca shell necklace.
