Sweet Frosty

The first assault was a fragrance not unlike a low-​income retirement center.
They didn’t have Original Tart.
The old tile floor gave a dirty, unappetizing impression.
Then the New York Cheesecake/​Strawberry blend I went with was melty.
I stood at an empty counter for a minute-​plus waiting to pay (and I couldn’t slurp it while I waited because it had not yet been weighed) while the Lady visited with her friends who had come in to play Pink Lemonade in front of the ice cream dispensers. (I realize Sweet Frosty is not liable for the behavior of customers.)
So I was sad about my experience but glad to get out the door.

If you’ve never been to Sweet Frosty,
you should know this:
You walk in, and its like having a diabetic seizure BEFORE you get the froyo! Everything is Pink & Green, which I actually think is charming and has a casual yet futuristic ambience.
There are 2 cup sizes, be CAREFUL! These will be weighed (which no one tells you). You then choose which flavor of froyo you’d like (AWESOME for vegan/​vegetarian friends)
*I recommend the toasted marshmallow!
Then you work your way down the line to toppings, this is where you go crazy! They have a wide variety, from boba (traditionally this would be flavored tapioca pearls, but in this instance, they’re little balls filled with flavored juice-​not very good) and candies, cookies, syrups and fresh fruit (also not very fresh).
You get weighed up, and enjoy! They also have couches and a T.V. which leads on to a very relaxed environment. I overall loved it and will be back!
