The Federal

A fantastic spot! Knowing that you can vibe a spot by its atmosphere then be blown away by the food is such a payoff for any establishment and customer especially! Our server Ashley was so friendly and spot on! The food? Well it «was» as good as it looks in my pics! Passing through town on the way to our final leg of our shoot was highlighted by The Federal!

Saw an episode of Bar Rescue and decided to check this place out. Went on Friday around 7:30PM. The place wasn’t slammed but it wasn’t empty either. We were promptly greeted and got drinks right away. Burger Bomb and Youngstown Mule were really good. We had the pretzel bites which are much better than most restaurant pretzels. I got the grilled cheese burger as seen on Bar Rescue. Incredible invention. My wife got the prime rib sandwich which was also superb. We closed with an Ice Cap which is the most delicious drink ever. The owners even took time to talk with us and took a picture with us. I had anticipated getting drilled with our check and was floored that it was $ 50 before tip. Place is clean and all of Taffer’s improvements are still in play. These guys are going to do very well if they keep following Taffer’s advice

The burgers and pretzel bites are good, but the service is slow. It is an okay experience, with okay food.

Food is delicious but the service is terrible. The server was very slow and inattentive.

Absolutely horrible! Chicken was dry and tough and the burger had absolutely no flavor. I never would’ve known that Bar Rescue was there!
