I mean what more can you say… It’s darn good chicken! And where else can you find some good Jo-Jo’s, if you even find them at all… everything else is a bonus. All in all, great chicken with fair prices for quality dinner options.

I loved my chicken. It was memorable. But my wife’s gyro had really nasty chicken meat in it. The fries were soggy with grease, and over salted. Just get the chicken. You will be glad you did.

Great chicken but it was quite a bit of a wait. Only real hiccup is that I ordered mac n cheese and they did not provide any silverware and I was literally staying at a hotel about a mile away. Should at least ask if silverware is required.

Stopped in for the first time to try a few things. The fried chicken was amazingly good. Crispy outside and moist inside with a nice hint of garlic. Definitely something to get again. Also tried the ribs. They were charred nice on the grill and the sauce was tasty. I prefer ribs that have a much deeper smoked flavor, but these were still good. The only downside was the server told me that they were frozen and I would have to wait for them. Personally, I don’t care if they are frozen. It’s a small restaurant and I understand that they don’t have racks of ribs slow smoking out back. Yet, that’s still probably something you don’t want to be sharing with your customers.

Awesome chicken. Spiced right and very moist. A winner every time.

Very good! I ate the gyro and it was great! The mac and cheese was good but a little watery.

As Uncle Nick’s slogan goes, «If The Colonel Had Our Recipe He’d Be A General»…Pretty much says it all! This is arguably the best chicken in town. My wife had a craving so she picked up some chicken, jo-jo potatoes and cole slaw. The chicken, oh man the chicken. Crispy, garlicy skin and super moist on the inside. My wife referred to Uncle Nick as a chicken making God. The jo-jo’s are big quartered potatoes wrapped in breaded goodness. The slaw-may be my new favorite around the area. Perfectly made and not too wet or not too dry. Good stuff. If you are looking for great chicken in the area, Uncle Nicks is the place to go. There are a few other locations with the original located in Warren and is known as The Buena Vista Café. They also boast having great gyros of which I will probably try in the very near future.

Try the hot peppers, they are amazing. Haven’t had the chicken — it’s on my list of things to try.

«If The Colonel Had Our Recipe He’d Be A General» — Uncle Nick So true, Uncle Nick, so true. And thanks for opening a place so close to my home. The chicken is just as moist, just as crispy, just as garlicy as the Warren joint, but less travel time. First time here, I ordered my usual, the Family Pack(3 breasts, 3 thighs, 3 legs, 3 wings, jo-jos, slaw and a 2-liter of pop). The gal at the desk asked if I had the $ 2 off coupon. I said no. She said, you do now. How cool. Then she gave me another for my next trip. There will be a next trip. Memo to my heart doctor: Yes, they will be flossing Uncle Nick’s chicken out of my teeth while administering the embalming fluid, sorry.
