Wet Net Charters

I have been on four one-​day trip fishing charters with Capt. Matt Yablonsky’s Wet Net Charters fishing for King Salmon on Lake Ontario. Not that I am a big fisherman by any extent, but these were the best times I have EVER had fishing. There were three of us on each trip (plus Matt) and caught between 4 and 8 mature Salmon weighting between 15 and 26 pounds. Catching one of these big fish is really exciting — let me tell you. They fight back and they are tough to land. And, Captain Matt knows how to catch fish. He knows where to look, what bait to use, what depth to set the lines at, and when to pull them out. He LOVES to fish (to give you an idea, he fishes on his day off), and this makes him an excellent Captain and teacher. He has won numerous awards and derbys, and knows how to catch the other species of Lake and River fish as well. If you are on one of his Charters, he will be fully engaged at all times, and will expect the same level of engagement back from you. He really cares about making sure you have a great time on his boat, and will do everything possible to see that you have plenty of fish to bring home.
