Mattress Shack

Saw the Mattress Shack ads on CraigsList and was a bit skeptical. I went to Unilocal and read all the reviews. We were helping a friend move and he needed a new, king sized mattress. And, since his budget is really tight, I was shopping around for him. I called Mattress Shack and Tommy answered the phone. He is so polite, knowledgable, and helpful. My husband and I went to the store during our lunch break and we were treated very well. Tommy had one of his staff bring out two different mattresses from the back for us to lay on. Despite several higher quality mattresses on his showroom floor, Tommy didn’t try to up-​sell us or push a product on us that we didn’t want. He was very eager to please. He honored the price he quoted me on the phone with tax and delivery included. The coolest thing was that they delivered the mattress to our friend’s home that evening. Great prices, great service, and friendly, courteous delivery staff. When we need a new mattress, we will definitely go see Tommy again to check out what he has in stock. Oh… and by the way, they delivered the exact mattress we paid for. Tommy even had me initial the tag. No games or gimmicks. Just honest to goodness service! Check them out… you won’t be sorry.

In and out, great service, fantastic deals. We blew $ 2300 a few years ago at a bigger store and now I wish we’d come here instead! They tied it up on our luggage rack for us and everything. Professional, caring, customer oriented. If you come here you will rest easy (see what I did there?).

Tommy was a great sales guy, honest about the product and gave me a deal NO ONE COULD BEAT! I bought a King size Seally mattress brand new for under $ 500… A LOT UNDER! And am thrilled with my purchase. Thank you Thank you Thank you! I highly recommend anyone checkout what this guy has in stock when you go to buy your next bed.

Tommy in Youngstown is great! He is super helpful and the prices are amazing here! We bought a mattress for our son and we will be back when it’s time to upgrade my mattress.

I went to the Youngtown location and had the best experience. The owner greeted me with a smile, and was quite helpful. He listened to my needs and was able to find me an AMAZING mattress for a price that was unbelievable. The location is a small, but that is part of its charm. I believe in buying local when ever possible, and this is a great way to support local businesses and get a great price in the process.

Wow, what a great place. I got a smoking deal from Tommy he is knowledgeable and walked me through what mattress was good for my bad back. Plus what a deal it was three times the saving!

Purchased an adjustable bed from Tommy in May. Remote receiver shorted out in July. Although I bought this bed without a warranty I called Tommy and he worked with me to get the right receiver and sent his man to replace it for me at no cost. Tommy had told me at time of purchase that if I had any problems he would take care of it and, he came through on his word. Thank you Tommy. I would recommend everyone to shop at Mattress Shack.

Unilocal keeps deleting my reviews. I will keep posting until I find the correct way to warn you all against using this business. I made a significant purchase of 2 king size mattresses. When they were delivered, they were NOT the same mattresses that I ordered. When I called to try to straighten it out, Tommy just started yelling at me over the phone. He didn’t care what I had to say and did not offer any suggestions to rectify the sitaution. He lied to me and he refused to offer any customer service after he had my money. BEWARE… it could happen to you very easily.

My wife and I went here and were treated well and now we sleep well and get up refreshed nice and early. Tommy treated us very good and took the time to explain the different types of mattresses. Great deal and you probably will not find better. Thank you Tommy. Now go see Tommy he will treat you good.
