I stopped in for a mid-​afternoon treat with my girlfriend and we had read about the amazing reviews of Mighty Moo on Unilocal.Being close to my girlfriend’s place, we figured it would be a good time to check it out.
Our experience was excellent.
The folks at this shop are incredibly nice people, passionate about their business and taking pride in the ice cream they are serving up. Offering us any sample we wanted, my girl and I got to try some of the flavors out until we decided what we wanted.
I went with the German chocolate ice cream, while my girl got the Oreo cheesecake. Both of us were very impressed with the freshness of the ice cream and with the overall décor and atmosphere of place.
After hanging out for a while, I was feeling like a coffee. I was thinking we would have to go elsewhere to get one, but they set me up with a mocha latte so we wouldn’t have to. That was very nice of them to do.
I would definitely recommend Mighty Moo. It is one of the best ice cream shops in Arizona.

So many flavors of homemade ice cream! I revved up my afternoon with nutty coffee to feel toffee ice cream.
The owner and employees are expert and enthusiastic and are happy to give samples.

This is our second time here and my love for this place is confirmed! The ice cream is so creamy and I love that they don’t use any dyes. They change flavors monthly I believe, which makes each visit fun and exciting. There’s also a neat little rewards card they have. After ten punches on your card you get to spin the wheel for a prize. This is definitely a spot we’ll becoming back to so we can build memories with our daughter. You guys should try it out!

We hired Mighty Moo Ice Cream to bring their truck out to our wedding reception and let me tell you– it was a HIT! Our guests were so pleasantly surprised and everyone loved the ice cream!
Dean and Colleen made the process so easy– they were quick to respond via e-​mail, pricing was very reasonable and we were able to choose up to 10 flavors. Such a great deal! They were super friendly to us and our guests and really just made our reception that much more fun and enjoyable with their yummy ice cream! I want to have another party so we can bring them out again. If you’re looking for a unique treat for your party, look no further, these guys are the best!

Extremely friendly staff, Delicious ice cream, and close to home! They insisted I tried some samples before making my decision and suggested I try the banana cream pie which was amazing. I’ll be back!

So delicious! This place has very friendly folks, and so many options. We tried the captain crunch, strawberry cheesecake, peanut butter explosion, and almond joy. All of them are amazing! Also can’t beat these prices for the serving size you get. Will definitely be back!

This is, without exception, the best ice creams joint around. The taste is incredible and you get a ton. This is my go-​to ice cream place.

Real home made ice cream made with quality ingredients by someone that actually knows how to make delicious ice cream and didn’t just open an ice cream shop.
A review is necessary for this ice cream shop because of the location as it’s on the west side but ONLY 10 MINUTES Past Peoria Sports Complex or at most 15 minutes past Arrowhead Mall.
Located in a mostly unoccupied strip mall.
NO SIGN I almost didn’t spot this place…(hint) you need to look at the window.
It was very hard to decide on a flavor because it seemed like around 30 to choose from but went with the thin mint. It was rich and creamy and obviously made with quality chocolate and the right amount of chocolate. It really tasted just like a thin mint cookie. My husband had two scoops and had regular chocolate and a caramel flavor and those were also great.
They also have a nicely furnished dinning room with comfortable booths and complimentary water.
You should read the story about this family owned business on the Mighty Moo Website and then plan a trip to have some GREAT Ice Cream!

The place is very clean inside and the people there were very friendly and it was very comfortable and have ice was good just need to be more frozen it was nice to see a new ice cream place open since a lot of them have closed and they have unusual flavors which is a plus the parking lot was very dark and they needed to have a sign

They really need a sign. We almost missed it! It is in an old and mostly vacant strip mall so it is easy to miss if you don’t know what you are looking for. Delicious homemade ice cream in tons of flavors, cute cups to hold aforementioned ice cream, big TV playing Netflix, friendly family owned and operated, beautiful décor, and again, delicious ice cream. We will be back… Too often… Oh and the girl said if you fill up a punch card you get to spin a prize wheel (!) with prizes ranging from a small scoop of ice cream to free ice cream for a year. Loved it!

Just perfect! All of the ice cream are hand crafted made from scratch and the result is very satisfying. The best ice cream! All the flavors are delicious! The staff are very warm and welcoming. I’m looking forward to winning the free ice cream for a year! (One ice cream every week)

Went here after a run, big mistake! Walked out with a pint of ice cream and never put it down until it was completely gone! This place takes homemade to a whole new level. It was fabulous! So many flavors to choose from I will have to go back.

This is hands-​down the best kept secret in Youngtown. Yep, you heard me right-​Youngtown. That dumpy little town that you pass through between Surprise and Glendale on Grand Ave has THE BEST ice cream shop in the Valley. Oh you’ve never heard of it? Get with the times, people!
This ice cream is made on site and in flavors you’ve probably never dreamed of! And they have a food truck that we had come to our school’s carnival that was just as awesome as the shop! $ 3 for a single scoop, $ 5 for a double. And the single scoop could feed 2 people easily so you know you’re getting a generous deal. So many choices in flavors, floats, sundaes, toppings – it’s all good.
If you are a fan of ice cream, and let’s face it-​who isn’t in Phoenix in July – then make the trip to Youngtown and visit Mighty Moo or find out when their food truck will be in a neighborhood near you – or better yet, hire them for YOUR next event! You will soooo not regret it.
By the way, if you don’t get the peanut butter explosion, you are just failing at life. Seriously.

This is ice cream baby!
The small family run, handmade, hand crafted, hand tested ice cream joint that is rocking it with old school «soda shop» jams in the back ground.
The flavor and options are awesome… cake batter, cookie butter, almond joy, strawberries and cream etc. etc. etc.
I had the single scoop of almond joy in a cup. $ 3.00 and could feed two people.
Get over to this strip mall, eat some BBQ from RAGS if they are open and get some ice cream.

Our apartment complex does a weekly food truck Friday and this Friday we had the chance of trying Mighty Moo ice cream…
There were two guys in the truck and both were as nice as can be
They were both extremely friendly and helpful
I was kinda stuck on choosing a flavor as there were so many good options
I saw that they did reverse root beer floats too (root beer ice cream with vanilla soda) and I almost got that
but I went for the
Mighty mix, which was a mixture of like a birthday cake and chocolate chip cookie dough, it was really good!
I hope that we run into them again and soon!
