K’s Tailor

I brought two of my dress pants here to be shortened/​hemmed. Tailor was a sweet lady that was kind, helpful and did a perfect job. The price is really reasonable ($ 9/​hem or $ 14/​hem and lining). I’ll definitely be back.

NEVER GO HERE! My first time going to K’s, I needed to get some new insignia patches put on my husband’s military uniform. He needed a stripe attached to each sleeve on 2 jackets, nothing complicated. The woman behind the counter, who was the only person in the store, was beyond rude to me. She rolled her eyes when I showed her that the jacket sleeves were lined and would need to be unsewn and resewn to attach the patches. Then she told me she was going to charge $ 30 per sleeve! I’ve had this done before in other cities and it was $ 5 per sleeve, it’s no more than 10 mins of work on each sleeve, MAX. When I told her «thanks, but no thanks» (politely) she didn’t seem to care at all that she had just lost business. When I almost forgot my keys on the counter, she snapped at me «get these keys off my counter.» I was so shocked by the whole thing! It’s my first and definitely last visit to K’s.
