I stopped by on my way back home for a six-​pack. It’s a party store, how bad can it be, right? It’s old and dingy — not the feel-​good «it’s got character» kind of old and dingy, either — the few products they do have stocked look ancient. The beer prices were well above average, and the service was rather curt.
I strongly suggest that you steer clear of the Prospect Party Store — and it’s not just the prices that should keep you away: it’s clear some shady stuff goes down here.
