Hoskins John M DDS

I am a veteran of the dentist chair and found Dr. Hoskins, an Oral Surgeon, to be kind, professional and reasonably priced.
I went in for a root canal. He spent considerable time with me saving my tooth and clearly explaining the procedure in detail.
I am very thankful to have found Dr. Hoskins and appreciate his staff for their kind support.
All in all… I can honestly say Dr. Hoskins work was gentle and pretty much painless.
I would not hesitate to call his office again.

!!!WARNING!!! Hoskins doesn’t directly charge insurance and ALL charges are to be paid FULLY up front. $ 385 was paid upfront, which was just to look into her mouth. Called office asking about charges. Asked if any X-​Rays were taken, replied no. What exactly was done? They looked into her mouth and made an assessment. $ 385 just to look into her mouth is absurd. That they were charging us for future work. WHAT? Who charges for work that hasn’t been done yet? Later I received a Delta Dental Summary of Claim Form in the mail. Apparently Hoskins filed a claim to receive more money from Delta Dental. I called Delta Dental to report FRAUD. Told Delta Dental detail, they said this wasn’t right and unacceptable. Delta said Hoskins is responsible for doing business a certain way or they will be removed as a Delta Dental Provider. In the end I got almost 90% of my money back after I filed a Grievance. DO NOT DEAL with HOSKINS!!! SHADY COMPANY committing FRAUD!!!

If you want friendly, nice, caring service do not go here! I went here a couple of days ago and I was so disappointed! First, the staff was rude. When my daughter was going to come in with me they told her your not need in here. They couldn’t say it a nicer way? Next, when I was going to get my x-​rays taken the plastic thing kept irritating my mouth and she kept exclaiming sh*t! sh*t! The doctor came in and he could not do it either so he took the plastic thing and his tool and throw it across the room into the sink. I thought a doctor was supposed to be patient and his staff respectful. Finally, he gave me the wrong diagnosis and sent me home with a huge bill. I will never ever go here and will tell everyone I know to stay away from here!
