Planned Parenthood

By far the absolute worse healthcare experience ever. Decided to go in for certain tests. Made an appointment over the phone, but didn’t get seen until over an hour later. The woman (who was the manager) who checked me in was sooo bubbly and nice, but you could tell that she was doing it because she had to and not because she wanted to (FAKE). I got in to do my tests. The medical assistant (or nurse) performed my test (s) and didn’t allow me to see my test results. Walked away with the cartridge and told me it would be ready in 10 min. This doesn’t account for the 30 – 45 min wait I had in a confined room! When she came back, all she had was a paper telling me that I was fine and pretty much forced me out of the room, not giving me a chance to ask questions. I really wanted to see the actual results, but it was long gone. Seeing it on paper was NOT enough for me. Last time I did the same test a few years back, the person who did my test was right next to me the whole time. Made me feel comfortable and helped calm me since I was so anxious. She showed me the actual results and I was completely satisfied. She showed pure concern for my situation. The current workers there really lack that. And if they’re trying to compensate by acting really nice and bubbly. That is not working. I am a Flight Attendant. I work with MANY different people and can read people ride off the back. So anyway, my other results were basically «no news is good news.» I haven’t received a call. So I assumed I was fine. Well, I got an email from «Patient Fusion» stating my results were ready to be seen. What do you know??? No reference code to see my results. Call them, but instead I’m transferred to a stupid answering service with women who really have no care or concern for your situation because they are just on the other side of the line. This environment and culture that this company has become is horrific.
DO NOT GO HERE.

No point in making a appointment. My appointment was at 10:50 and I was called back at 11:46. I was met with a horribly rude nurse named Liz in a 3ft by 3ft room in which she punched in personal information but no information was given about my options for contraception or opinions on what might be best for me. I was then taken into a second room where the WONDERFUL doctor was waiting. I explained what I had been on prior and wanted to be on again. She was fast with my injection and very nice. Just wish the wait would have been shorter as to why I called and made a appointment prior. Had my husband not gotten off from work early I would have had to leave with nothing to pick up my child from school. Also at the end was asked if I would make a contribution to services given but then when I asked but doesn’t my insurance pay for this… was given a rude look and a response of“well maybe next time you can contribute”…will be getting my birth control from my primary care giver in the future as this experience unfortunately ruined my view of this branch of planned parenthood. Planned parenthood was where I first got birth control when I was 13 and they were so amazing and informative in the North Dakota branch back home. Hope they can get this one going right so others may not be so deterred and receive the products and information this program is designed to provide.

This is the worst experience ever. I went in at my scheduled appointment time (that had been confirmed by phone earlier in the day) sat in the waiting room, and filled out my paperwork only to be told they couldn’t do what was scheduled. When I asked why I hadn’t recieves a phone call regarding the matter I was answered with «we called around 9am» I checked my phone and no they had not called. Waste of my time and energy. Never again!
