The ladies there need to be friendly. One time they were 30 mins late and had five people waiting for her top open the store at 10am. We had to say hi lol and she didn’t even say sorry or anything. A main reason I haven’t been back.

I have to say, I was actually greeted at the door and they do seem to have quite a bit of variety, but I couldn’t for the life of me figure out where or how to locate my size – considering that I wear a junior’s 3, it’s hard to find much anyway. I’ve never quite understood why thrift stores organize racks by color because I don’t dress by color. I prefer to know that everything in my size is right here in this section, and if there’s nothing there that I like, I didn’t have to spend an hour browsing every color and category for my size only to discover that the one item that looked cool is 4 times too big. They do have quite a selection of shoes, but I was there in the middle of the day when everyone had been through already and the area was such a mess I decided not to brave it.
I suppose those of you who love shopping delight in being given an excuse to browse, so please don’t take my comments too seriously. I hate shopping… I despise trying to find clothes that will actually fit me and I have no fashion sense, so keep that in mind! ;)
All that to say, I’m sure they’re doing the best they can with what they have. If I need something specific, I might go by there first.
They do have a small designer rack that appears to be their best selling point and if I cared about brands, I’d probably appreciate them more. :)

I’ve been in this store several times and I dont think they’ve ever greeted me upon entry. Prices are fine and racks are packed. They do have a small collection of «designer» clothes. I mainly only look at the designer rack, so shopping is quick for me. Not a fun place to shop, but one of the only places in the Yuba/​Sutter area, so I guess they feel like they don’t have to try very hard.

I’ve been going here since I was very young with my mother and now I take my kids there! They have so many great baby, kids, junior and adult clothing. They always inspect their items thoroughly and I have found TONS of great name brand items! I got a great Coach purse to go with my Seven for all Man Kind jeans and Cole Haan shoes. My kids have are always dressed very well because the kids clothes I buy are hardly used. They are always full with great items, I recommend this place to anyone and everyone I know! They are bilingual and have a great paper to handout to anyone who wants to consign. Although they are the only consignment store so people come from all around so there is a great selection. You can go and buy a whole wardrobe for under $ 40. They always have great sales that go by color and have half off tickets =)

I thought the only second hand stores in the Marysville/​Yuba City area were Goodwill, Salvation Army, and a few local places. I was driving down Plumas Street and this store caught my eye.
I went in, and it was pretty well stocked, for a small store. Items were sorted, fairly well, by colour and style. And there was even a vintage section! I browsed the many racks, and found a few things that caught my eye. A lot of the items are Target and Wal-​Mart brands, with a few high end labels mixed in.
I managed to find a Banana Republic top and O’Neill shorts. I talked to the girl who rang me up (she was nice), and she told me that they weren’t buying for fall items until next month. She told me what they were looking for, and how consignment worked, because I have never «sold» to a consignment shop. I usually go to Crossroads in Roseville, or Arden. She handed me a piece of paper that explained how their consignment clothing shop works.
I’m glad I drove past this shop. I will definitely be visiting it more often, and I hope it stays for a while. On Unilocal a few weeks ago, I had read a review of a thrift store in Marysville, only to find that it no longer existed. Such heart break.
I will follow up with this review after I go in and set up a consignment account with them. Please don’t disappoint me, again, Yuba City!
