Sonic

Went in for lunch today to say it was bad is an overstatement as far as the food was concern, I ordered a meal deal that was supposed to have two Sonic Burgers with juicy, 100% pure beef patty topped with crinkle-​cut pickles, chopped onions, fresh shredded lettuce & ripe tomatoes with your choice of mustard, mayo or ketchup. It’s the original Sonic burger. What I got was a bun with a burned beef patty, No Pickles, No chopped onions, No fresh shredded lettuce & ripe tomatoes. Was never asked if I wanted a choice of mustard, mayo or ketchup. What I did get in place of mustard, mayo or ketchup was Grease enough that By the time I arrived home I was giving up the So called Burger to the porcelain god in my bathroom. So no I will not be stopping by there again

We order our favorite drinks Route 44 Vanilla Cherry Dr. Pepper, tots, hamburger, popcorn chicken, and cheese sticks. All came out fast, even though Sonic was busy. We sat there in the carport and ate. Crystal came out twice to see if we needed anything. From the person taking our order, to the young lady who brought us our stuff, service was great.

After a busy day of running errands and grocery shopping, we were planning to stop at Sam’s club and get hot dogs for a snack, but they close early 6pm on Sundays! So we ended up at Sonic which worked out perfectly. I haven’t been to the new Opening, so it was a nice visit and I am very glad Sonic is back in YC again :)
It was awesome to see their new digital screens and also they accept Mobile pay. I was able to Redeem my Birthday gift, Free Medium tater tots with my Sonic app. We ordered a Chicago dog and New York dog! Trevor was our Car hop and he was friendly, excellent customer service. He even skated back out while we were eating with a tray full of condiments and asked us if we wanted extra napkins, ketchup, etc. No one has ever done that for me at Sonic in Oroville.
When we got there it wasn’t too crowded, drive thru was very busy! But by the time we were leaving the car stalls started filling up and it got busier. The hot dogs were GREAT and was just right until we made it to dinner later. I think it’s cool they offer both French fries and tater tots, something different compared to other fast food places! I am sure I will be back again, love the Chicago dog, especially those little HOT sport peppers!!!

Solid choice for fast food. I think they are in perhaps a higher tier in food quality, well above Burger King or McDonalds, but below In ‘N Out

So… I love Sonic almost everywhere… like it’s hard to mess up! You order yummy frozen treats and ice cream and a guy (or girl!) with roller skates comes out and serves you, how fun is that!
The reason why I am giving this Sonic a 1 star is because I came here on a Sunday night and ordered a small fries and a medium strawberry cream slush… I waited 45 minutes for a small fries and medium cream slush… WTF. So 25 minutes in I asked to just cancel my order, because this was ridiculous and they were like ohh no, sorry but your order will be out in a just a couple minutes… OK if 20 more minutes means a couple… cool thanks Sonic for ruining my night. After I even get my cream slush and french fries I hand the skater 10.57 (had a lot of time to count change) when my bill was 5.57 and he was like oh I have to go get change. and I was like great, another 45 minutes I’ll wait for this guy to roll around. Haha, 10 minutes later he brings me $ 1…uhhh? So I say I gave you 10.57 and you only gave you 5.57, then he proceeds to tell me about his LONG night and at this point I just want to grab my money and leave. UGH this Sonic literally is such a joke, absolutely ridiculous.

This SONIC has re-​opened after being closed for a while.
We only went tonight per request of our son. We waited 15 minutes in the car and our order never came!
The manager said the person with our order had to throw it away because he skated past every car and no one claimed the order as theirs! No one ever came near us and we were there the whole time.
PLEASE CLOSE FOR GOOD THIS TIME!

So glad this place reopened, service is good, long lines and wait but worth it. Evenings are crowded but worth it.

First time going to this location they got our order wrong 3x. Make sure when you order the blasts with multiple toppings you have them write it down. However, they did accommodate our 45 minute wait with a $ 5.00 off coupon.
Overall the food was good.

Love the many many flavored fruit slushes (even nerds) and shakes. There are dozens of combinations to try. Sonic is great for the bad for you food cravings. Mac & cheese bites and chili-​cheese tots are super yummy. Convenient personal ordering parking spaces and friendly servers make this a pleasant stop for when you’re hungry.

It was 107 degrees today so I thought a sonic beverage sounded good. After a fairly long wait in the drive thru when I reach the order box I was asked to pull into one of the stalls which 90 percent of the time don’t work. Because they were changing over registers I nicely inform them that I was only ordering two drinks I was still has to do that I told them no thank you and drove away I will never return to this sonic ever again.

I always see Sonic commercials on T.V. yet there isn’t a Soinc in San Francisco… Such a tease right?! I’ve been to a Sonic ions ago while driving through Texas late one evening. but that’s a whole different story.
Came to Sonic with my friend few days ago and we pretty much wanted every slush and shake they have on the menu! Came back the next evening and got a Strawberry Cheesecake shake which is actually not bad.
Sonic is a neat little chain that has real drive-​thru like what you see in movies dated from the 50s-​60s. Brings me to an era I wish I grew up in.

More than half of the drive ups weren’t working, but they didn’t bother to put any signs or cones up to warn anyone.

I was working in Yuba City last Monday and saw a Sonic on the corner. I’ve never eaten at Sonic so I decided I would give it a try for lunch. I had a cheeseburger and a vanilla malt. The cheeseburger was average and the malt tasted just like the malts at Carl’s Jr. I was disappointed with the malt since Sonic is supposedly known for their drinks and shakes. The presentation was good. It was topped with whipped cream and a cherry… but the whipped cream was actually Cool Whip and it made up about half of the drink. Overall, I’m glad I tried Sonic so now I know I’m not missing out on anything special.

I was really thirsty, so I came here for a big huge water. Places like Taco Bell charge a quarter, but at Sonic, you can get a HUGE 44 ounce cup for only 11 cents! What a deal! When I asked the guy for my water, he also gave me a free cherry slush that someone had ordered, but didn’t want. WOOHOO! Um… I actually almost died from brain freeze, so after a few sips I tossed it. But the water was good!

Waited almost 40 minutes for my food and it was cold. They decided to wash the floor by the door forcing the person to take off his skates and change into shoes. That took them longer to take care of the drive thru which circled the building. Worst service I’ve had at a sonic.

Wait thirty minutes on Saturday night! Will never go there again.

Bad customer service is an understatement. I am a very, very regular customer and it seems as though the car hops customer service is just getting worse and worse! There is only one of them that I do like, and she rarely works. I suggest they change the majority of their personnel.

Decent place to stop and get a quick burger. Great place to stop and get a yummy slushy, cream slushy, or ice cream shake on a hot day!!! And of course there are a ton of flavors to choose from.
This place is a classic old-​school drive-​in. You can park in the car port order from the sign at your window and have a gal on rollerskates bring your food out to your car. Or you can drive-​thru like todays modern pull-​up order, move ahead, and go fast food drive-​thru. Or you can park your car get out, order at any of the window order stations in the covered cement picnic area and have a rollerskater bring you your food and drinks.
The cheesburger i ordered was decent. No complaints. Fast food was what i was looking for on my drive to Chico, and Sonic was my stop. 1^st time trying it. I love that you can order tots instead of fries, cuz i like tots too! The chicken sammich my companion ordered looked pretty good. It came out on some sammich bread instead of a bun. The drinks were just what we were looking for on that 90 degree day. We ordered up large Watermelon and Grape Slushes and they hit the spot. We realized later that we could have gotten Cream Slushes, so next time, if im ever near a Sonic again, i will be trying that. Overall the service was good, the food was decent, its fast-​food what more could you ask for, and I had no complaints.
