Sofia is the lady to ask for, and she works every other Sunday! Yay! One more chore I can take care of, on the weekend.

I’ve been going to Ricks barber shop for about 10 years, never had a bad cut, never had a long wait, Memo, Rick, Alex. Simi, and Eddie, all have cut my hair and I cannot pick a favorite cuz they all are great barbers… thanks guys

Called to see if Rick’s Shop had any openings today or if I could schedule an appointment with Junior as he has been highly recommended. The rude woman who answered simply stated «Junior don’t work here no more» and hung up. Guess I’ll be taking my business to Redlands. Nice work Dicks Barber shop…

Great hours open really early. Old school style cut and flat razor I only get cut by Memo and Seemi. My boy likes the young guy by the restroom. I suggest being selective on who cuts your hair and not for longer hair which one of my boys have the lady butchered it but this is the only place I go to for buzz cut … $ 14 bucks.

My husband went in for a trim on this sides of his beard and told the barber exactly where he wanted it trimmed, the barber took off more than asked and took an inch off all the way around. Why can’t they just do what the client asks?! I don’t even give it one star i just had to or else I couldn’t post

Best barber shop in town

Ricks barbershop has been in business for over 10 years in the same location, I have been going there for over a year and I like my haircuts with a barber instead of a salon stylist, the haircuts are 14 $ but very worth it, my barber is Eddie and he is great very professional, gets the job done and is personable.

Relaxed. I’m an easy guy and don’t ask for much. They were quick, friendly, and the space was clean. Lacked a little personality but I got exactly what I paid for, I’ll be back.

My boys and husband always come here! It’s the best! Their hair always comes out looking very good! Never disappointed! The prices are also very reasonable and well worth it!

Rick Jr does a hella good job! We try to keep track of his schedule to get my son Johnny’s hair cut… by far best barber in town!

The only good thing I can say about this place is that it’s local and they are open 7 days a week. Customer service sucks!!! Not polite at all. I’ve come back a few times thinking maybe they were just having a bad day but No! And just to let you know I don’t get my hair cut here I bring my boys but their service is horrible Hopefully they read this and listen! Service is the most important part of a business! I’ve only done a few reviews but this place really is awful. I really wanted to like this place I gave them several chances but they suck!!! You wait a long time for a sh*ty haircut. The old man (not sure what his name is) but he is always so grumpy and rude! I guess I will be driving out of town to get decent haircuts for my boys. I always like to stay local but no other spots in yucaipa. Please spend your money elsewhere this place is junk!!!

First time here, I will return. People are nice and got a great haircut at a good price, they even still do a close shave with a hand razor, very nice.

Went to get my haircut the other day. Eddie greeted me and said he would be my barber that day. His customer service was great, very friendly and professional, he did a great job with the cut and I was extremely satisfied with his service and cutting skill, so if anyone wants a good barber hit up my boy Eddie and he will def get the job done right and make you feel like a regular.

I just moved to Yucaipa and found Rick’s through Unilocal and I’m glad I did. They knew how to cut my hair. I’m not sure about all the bad reviews but I’m very picky about my hair cut and never give 5 stars. The place is clean, professional, and very reasonably priced. If you think $ 13 is expensive then you have never been to the city for a cut. To the mom who was complaining about letting her 3 year old sit in the barber chair to wait, duh! Its a liability issue.

Went there to get a Faux Hawk, the guy who cut my hair had a receding hairline and cut mine to look the same. I was 17 then and I came out with the hairline of a 45 year old man. I came back to have them touch up the top because it was too long and they said they would have to charge me again.

EDIT 6−27−15: I only go to one barber at Ricks. Junior is my go to guy and now he is no longer there. Someone on Facebook let me know where Junior is. He opened his own place:

I make a point of only seeing Junior for my barbering. Not saying others aren’t good but everybody has their favorite. I always get a great haircut and I treat myself to an old fashioned hot towel, straight razor and bay rum shave. A man has to treat himself once and a while, you know.
Rick’s is in uptown Yucaipa and convenient for locals but for those out of towners, its worth the drive. No, check that – stay away. Rick’s should stay a local secret.
