Blu-Rays are(as of 2016) fifty cents more than at Redbox, but you get to keep them for a week. The store’s pretty big and they seem to have a decent selection; most newer movies are offered in DVD, Blu-Ray, and many in 3D. The staff I’ve talked to are knowledgeable and always willing to offer opinions. Bonus points for always cleaning the discs before renting them out.

Won’t be going back here. BEWARE, their late fees are ridiculous. I had 4 movies all 5days late I understand late fees. I excepted something like 20 $. But 33 $ in late fees that’s just crazy to me. BEWARE !!

I didn’t listen to the other reviews. Been living in Yucaipa forever(33years) and seen this place open. Finally decided to go in and get the kids some movies. The people there are super friendly. New membership deal was also a plus(3 free ¢.99 movies for a week!!) they have a great selection of movies and have movies that aren’t out in Redbox yet. Great prices(.99 or 2.73) and you get to keep most movies for a week. Definitely going back for more movie enjoyment.

I love this store!!! Jessica, Zack, and Melissa are the best! They know my taste and recommend movies and t.v.shows I would never considered watching but love. The owners go out of their way to obtain previously viewed movies I love but missed purchasing. Excellent selection and sublime service! A true gem!

While I am all for supporting local business, I feel that the local business should earn that business just as much as the big boys. Case in point, I returned some movies this evening, not realizing that they were late. When I handed the very rude woman the new movies that I wanted to rent, she informed me of the late fees. I apologized, and said I didn’t realize they were late, that I had just brought my husband home from a weeks stay at the hospital. Before I could even finish telling her the reason that they were late, she was giving me an annoyed look, and making it very obvious that she did not believe me. I asked if there was any way she could waive the late fees, and again before I even finished my statement she cut me off, and said no there is nothing I can do. I went ahead and paid the late fees, simply because I didn’t want the $ 20 to go to collections, and she actually had the audacity to ask me if I wanted the two that I had brought up. Needles to say, I will not be going there again. Even though Red box can be a pain in the butt sometimes, they at least understand customer service.

rude, rude, rude! i see the last statement for support the locals and i’m all for it! except for superstar video. i called and asked if i had to bring the videos in to renew them or if i could do it over the phone and she had a complete attitude! where is the common courtesy! —- will never go back — don’t think anyone else should either unless they want to be treated with complete disrespect.

I rented 2 movies last night. One worked and the other one kept sticking so I went back to exchange it for another one. The clerk said that if it worked on her player then she would not be able to exchange it. I let her know that that was understandable if I wanted another title but I just wanted to exchange for the same title and I would return it later tonight when the original rental was due. She did exchange it but not without a huge attitude. About 30 minutes later I get a phone call from her manager bitching me out about their ridiculous policy. I said it’s already done what do you want? She went on the tell me how rude I was to her employee(she wasn’t there and her employee was very rude to me!) She threatened that if I got another complaint that my membership would be revoked! I have never heard of a manager calling a customer to bitch them out and I will never be going back to that store EVER! They just lost a long time customer. I’ll go to RedBox from now on.

My family and I love to support our Yucaipa businesses, but this one is ran ridiculously and definetly not a place I will go back to. If you dare to go and rent there make sure you have them scan your movies back in and watch them do it, otherwise they will claim its lost and you owe them.

Support the locals!!! Superstar is the local video store and my first option for DVD rentals. I have been a customer for 3 years and never had billing/customer service/missing rentals issues(Blockbuster on Paradise Valley Road I am looking at you). They have a decent selection of new and old releases. Brand new releases are available for one night rental for the first week Superstar has them, then they are available for a week rental. I usually check out the older rentals, which for two rentals runs $ 3.24; WWAAYY better than the almost $ 4 for one rental at Blockbuster for new AND old releases– F&%K THAT.
