Hertz Rent A Car

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Hertz shame on you… picked up a rental car at the Palm Springs airport on the way to Las Vegas on 9/26…halfway on hwy 62 realized the passenger window would not close all the way so had noisey windshear problem and .
could not use the Bluetooth in the car called the counter in Palm Springs and they said go to the office in Yucca Valley, they would exchange the car. Stopped at the Yucca Valley office and the girl said she had one car.
She did not tell me until after the exchange was done that the car was dirty, it smelled and was in an obvious collision. dents on the driver side and passenger side and the fender was coming off. The car also only had a half a tank of gas. more time out of my trip. Finally the next day after stopping at an office on Sahara in Las Vegas and being told they didn’t have an exchange go to the airport which was a good half hour out of my way I stood in line at the airport and was given an exchange which I returned to the Palm Springs airport where there was no lot attendant to check me in. I had the paperwork proving there was damage that I did not do. Two weeks later what’s in the mail but a bill for $ 471.80 for body damage. Are you kidding me? Hence more time to deal with this issue now. Nightmare!!!

As a gold member who made a reservation days ago I was upset and surprised that there were no cars available when I arrived.
The staff member who is managing the Hertz rental did not even greet me when we were standing side by side in front of the office
She was unconcerned with my dilemma and support was not helpful when I called in to report this situation.
Fortunately there is an enterprise rent-​a-​car down the road and they’re on their way to pick me up.

The woman who works here (Israel) is absolutely amazing. Everytime I’ve come here she has made me a satisfied customer. So much so I stopped using enterprise and use Hertz more often. I don’t EVER have ANY problems with her. I’m very thankful that she works at this location and she seems to be very happy with the company. I won’t go anywhere else for the time being.

I would recommend Hertz rental agency to anyone who is on a friendly budget. The Yucca Valley Hertz location is always less expensive than all of the other car rental agencies in the desert. The cars they have on hand are always nice and clean. I feel privileged that we live so close. :)

The great customer service skills and the understanding staff at this location are commendable! They don’t pressure you into upgrading or adding additional insurance coverage like most all of the other car rentals do. We have never felt ripped off by the staff at this location. They are usually upgrading us for free. They included a GPS in the car we rented the last time and they have upgraded cars for us many times over the past years. These are good people and I promise you will be satisfied.

The cars we receive from the Yucca Valley, California Hertz location seem to get better every time we return.
One of the last two cars we rented from this location, was a Nissan Maxima. The keyless entry and keyless special starter button were nice features. It also has a dual control panel for heating your seats and adjusting your own individual ac/​heat temperatures. The Maxima is a luxury vehicle with a sporty feel. If you get car sick, you may want to avoid this one. If you like to drive, you should most definitely reserve this one. I promise you will love it! :)
The last car we rented from the Yucca Valley location, was a Chevy Impala. This is an even smoother ride than the Nissan Maxima! The interior is made of black leather and looks very nice. The view through the windshield is excellent. The ac/​temp controls are a bit confusing to understand at first, but they work great. My husband and I both get carsick. The smooth ride and the cool flowing air this car put out made the trip super easy for us. The Chevy Impala is now a new favorite of ours! We also received a free GPS upgrade with this rental!

I have rented several cars from Hertz. They are always professional. Cars are well maintained. I wouldn’t go any where else.
