Good food! I was a bit sad because they ran out of chocolate syrup but Jacki saved my appetite and found some! She went out of her way to make my dessert.

Expensive & not worth $ 13 for a salad bar! Service was poor & our«server» was MIA most the time we were there. We only eat there if my in-laws want to otherwise we dont go there. The only thing worth a dang there is their clam chowder, which I order & take out. They need to bring their prices down and their quality up.

Went today with my husband for lunch I got the Malibu chicken and he got the salmon. It was ok. Tho I wish they had more chicken entrees. Their salad bar was awesome. Alot of options. I ordered the salad bar but my husband did not and as soon as he saw all the different variety of foods he turned around and purchased his. The service was good. April our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. Tho the bus boy really shouldn’t be picking his nose in the dining room. That’s a big yuck. My husband and I enjoyed our dining experience(not the nose picking part) and will definatley be back. Just for the salad bar tho.

One only for the service got the salad bar the soup tasted old like it had been setting way to long, the steam table food was cold felt like it was from the refrigerator Salad bar utensils and table were dirty not to mention so was my silverware this was truly the second worse food I have had in my life! Next vacation trip will not be including this place!

We went in for lunch today, just an hour after they opened. Many tables had crumbs and the decorative glass between the tables was covered in greasy fingerprints. We tried to ignore that, but then we had a dirty knife and a dirty glass… so we are done eating there.

I’ve been to the Murrieta and Moreno Valley Sizzlers and their food was REALLY good… Yucca Valley, not so good. Ordered the Rib Eye medium rare and a baked potato… not good. My wife’s food was not that good also… the 1960’s pop crap music in the background didn’t help. We will not be coming back, what a bummer

First visit to the Sizzler in Yucca Valley. Passed it many times. We stopped in for a late lunch, early Dinner 3:30pm. I remember sizzler 30 years ago, but It has been a long time since Was in one, but this location was a nice surprise. It’s got to be the cleanest restaurant in Yucca Valley. Top to bottom, salad bar, etc, cleaner than most homes. The food, choices were great. The server, April was excellent.

This was the first time I ate here and I have to say that it was pretty good. The service was great and our food came out quick. Will come back to this place.

Made the mistake of having dinner at «FIZZLER!» Disgusting slop. Ordered the combo«mega» meal. Couldn’t finish most of my plate. Steak(size of an adult human thumb) was filled with sinew, shrimp was frozen in the middle and breading tasted strange, «rib-let» resembled the precooked version you get in the frozen food section and tasted like it. Service sucked too. Guess $ 20 bucks for dinner doesn’t get you much anymore. Should re-name this place FIZZLER! My appetite FIZZLESEVERYTIME!

Ok, I know what you’re all thinking… Sizzler, seriously?! That’s what my friends and I thought when we saw it on our way to Joshua Tree. We were actually surprised to see and know that Sizzler still existed and was thriving… perhaps out nowhere, but still, it’s here. How long has it been since I’ve been to a Sizzler??? C’mon, it’s what we’re all thinking. So, it was a done deal… after seeing Sizzler on the way in, on our way out, it’s what’s for dinner. There’s nothing crazy about the décor. It’s your average dining layout for a Sizzler. There haven’t been crazy upgrades or anything, it’s a diner/café. When we walked in, we almost forgot how it all worked. You have the ever-famous salad bar, still intact. You can purchase that as a meal itself but it’s gotten a bit pricier, obviously, with inflation. Granted, it’s been almost 15 years since I’ve been to Sizzler so a $ 5 increase probably isn’t out of the question. So, getting back on track, salad bar about $ 11 alone. You can order a special meal deal which includes the salad bar with entrees ranging around the $ 12 – 14 range, so you get a separate entrée and then all the goodies of the salad bar or you can just order off the menu with no salad bar. Of course, we wanted the salad bar. Why else would you come to Sizzler! So I ordered the 6oz steak entrée with salad bar along with my friend, and our other friend got the shrimp. The salad bar has the same standards, and majority of items seemed fresh. They also had a taco bar where you could make nachos or hard-shelled tacos with ground beef or carnitas, the velvetta cheese that’ll clog your arteries in seconds and salsa and guacamole. They had a array of cold salads they made that were pretty tasty. One I enjoyed the most was the peanut salad! They also had a kids or «American» section with mac n’ cheese, fried chicken and potato wedges. The mac n’ cheese was slightly less than you’d hope but the expectations really aren’t that high with Sizzler– basically, it’s edible and you wouldn’t throw it out if you were craving mac n’ cheese. Personally, Kraft Mac n’ cheese in a box is better than this, but again, if you’re really craving it, you’ll eat it! The fried chicken was actually pretty good and I LOVED the taco bar. I had 3 tacos, apparently, I couldn’t get enough! That ground meat was just doing it for me! I put fresh cheese instead of the melted cheese and lettuce from the salad bar with the hard-shelled tacos. Initially, when I saw the hard-shelled tacos, I thought they’d be too hard and crunchy but to my surprise, they were great! Crispy, good crunch and delicious! The steak wasn’t bad either. Although, mine came in quite a phallic shape(photo may not be appropriate for Unilocal), it would be on the same scale as Outback I’d say. I was pleasantly surprised! The dessert didn’t look overwhelming but they did have a warm berry pie/cobbler of some sort, a cheesecake, bread pudding that looked very questionable and the good old standard frozen yogurt. They did have an extensive topping bar for the frozen yogurt like gummie bears, oreo cookies, along with several sauces but I went with a small cone. It’s not the best meal you’re ever gonna have, but for a visit back to the old stomping grounds, it hit the spot!

I don’t know what steak that the bad reviewer had, but I got the 14 oz ribeye medium rare. It was BETTER than outback. True not all the dishes there are a hit. But they nailed the rib eye. And trust me, I am a picky customer, you can tell by my other reviews. The staff was nice and friendly also.

I got all you can eat riblets. They were alright. The fries tasted like shrimp. Separate the fryers guys. Sea food in one everything else in the other. The salad bar was alright. But let me tell you, the had the best pre made salads. Kale quinoa super food salad was amazing. The cilantro lime vinaigrette was pretty good. The waitresses are super sweet and take their jobs seriously. I don’t expect amazing food from sizzler. It’s more like going back to that happy place growing up. I’ve been to sizzler twice since the mid eighties. I was mildly surprised that this nuclear food made a step up. The entrée I had was just alright. I’m almost ready for Icecream. 4 stars because of the service and the quinoa kale super salad. Sizzler could reinvent itself it offers more dishes like this. What about a grass fed and organic option? I would be pretty stoked as I could cheat here with less of a dirty conscience !! ;) update! Second order of riblets was awesome. And I have an Icecream sundae with gummy brats nuts and caramel. Awesome. Could become very obese here

I really like this place. You can’t beat the price for a steak dinner. The manager usually stops by our table to see if we are satisfied. My husband loves the salad bar & I love being able to get a steak at a decent price. What can I say: I’ll be back! Highly recommend.

More than satisfied. I almost wish I didn’t order good and just got the salad bar alone. I had the unlimited shrimp and steak. The steak was good but I wasn’t too happy with the shrimp. The service was great. The waitress was super attentive. The banana pudding… Freakin delicious. I would definitely go back!!! I suggest just getting the salad bar. My husband got some seafood linguini and he didn’t like his entrée either. But we were both very satisfied with everything else.

Okay, so we tried something different this year for Thanksgiving. My son is down from Nevada, my daughter and her boyfriend live in Yucca Valley(they are not happy about it either). Let’s go to Sizzler, sounds like a great idea. Wrong! She and I had the turkey dinner, it was processed turkey, over salted and peppered green beans, mashed potatoes were okay. I loved the yams with maple butter but that’s about it. It wasn’t packed at 4:30pm, yet we had to wait for cheese bread, refills, and water. Now don’t get me wrong we have been there a dozen times before and did not have many issues, but this time was a disaster. The meal included pumpkin pie, but since we didn’t see our server for ten minutes, we left. No pumpkin pie. The guys all had steaks or the burger and were quite happy. Next year maybe we’ll cook.

If you’d told me that I liked Sizzler 3 months ago I’d have kicked you in the shin. That being said, I like Sizzler. Well, at least this one. I remember they used to have the Steak and all you can eat shrimp which was actually more like Steak and all you can eat Shrimp Flavored Breading. The shrimp in Cup O Noodles were bigger. And tasted better but I was in my 20’s and didn’t know a decent meal from a used tire. Now the food is better and the service is pretty good at this location. The salad bar seems mostly fresh and well stocked. Soup is hot and the flavors I’ve tried are good. Occasionally they have some odd sounding concoction that I deem a «Must Miss». The baked potatoes are hit or miss, usually more on the rare side than well done. they will, however put bacon and cheese on them(for a small pittance) which makes almost anything I’m a self proclaimed Bread Pudding Snob and this one is pretty darn good. I really cant say anything bad about The Sizzler but you DO have to remember: It’s Sizzler. Gourmet it ain’t! They also have a big giant TV in the back dining area that they play the sports games on while you eat. That’s always a plus! The good: Great friendly service and decent food. The bad: It can get a little loud and busy but that has merit if you’re a people watcher. The Ugly: It’s in Yucca Valley.
