I was disappointed in the dinner from here. Nothing really tasted homemade. The chili on the shredded beef enchiladas tasted like Hormel chili from a can. The tortillas were just basic pre-packaged tortillas. The rice was bland with really no taste to it at all. The beans were decent though. The tortilla chips weren’t stale, but they didn’t taste like they had made them there either. The cheese sauce seemed like they were running low so they cut up some Velveeta to make it last a little longer. The portion sizes were kind of small for the expensive price they charged. The wait staff was friendly but I will stick with my usual place in Mustang.

Good food but awful service. Chaotic, very slow, and forgetful. I dont know what happened to this place. A few years ago it was good and got good service.

Came here because it was close by. Walked in and was ignored by the hostess. After getting her attention I asked her if I could be seated, table of 1. I sat by myself for about ten minutes before anybody noticed me and bright chips and salsa to the table. Ten more minutes went by before a waiter came by to take my drink order. Mean while, I had to use my take napkin to clean the table because the only did it half ass. When the food arrived, it was good. Salty. I usually add salt to everything. No need to do that here. Their food is salty enough. The have better salsa in the back so if you come here be sure to ask for it. They’re table salsa looks like it comes from Wal-Mart. Bottom line, glad I ate alone so that I was the only one disappointed.

If you like tex mex, then you should come eat here. Both of the salsas they serve are delicious. They have a great variety of tacos and all of them are superb. Everything I have tried here has been delicious. I have eaten many many times. This place is always busy and they are great at service. The wait time is never as long as they quote you and they move people in and out without giving off a feeling of being rushed. Keep up the great work Alfredo’s.

TL;DR: food was great, prices are average, the service was quite excellent. The wife and I received a flyer in the mail with a few coupons for Alfredo’s. I had never been, and had no real desire to try them out but the wife said they were good and suggested we use one of the coupons. So we looked at the coupons, 50% off tacos, $ 7.13 off your order, double fajita’s for the price of a single.(Seriously, my one sadness is our waitress didn’t know why the coupon was for $ 7.13) Anyway… We decided since our 3 yr old nibbles on chips and queso and refuses to eat, and we’re not looking to spend a fortune, that the double fajita’s should suffice for the lot of us. So we used said coupon, which went off without a hitch. We ordered the«double-combo» fajitas, beef and chicken combo(could have had shrimp too, but I detest shrimp), we all had waters, and our total was only like $ 15.23 + tip.(keep in mind that would be the price of a SINGLE combo fajita plate with water, but we had the coupon). SWEETMOTHEROFGLUTTONY… They brought out 2 plates with beans and rice and cheese. Two side plates of pico, guac, and sour cream. And a heaping sizzling skillet of fajita. I’ll be honest: I don’t know how much food was actually there, but I ate 3 pretty fat fajita’s, my wife ate 2 fat fajitas, and my daughter nibbled on a single piece of chicken and constantly asked to go to the bathroom(which is her signature move at any restaurant, because she clearly hates when my wife gets to eat hot food). After all that: we still have what feels like 2−3lbs of fajita. We filled a full-size togo box about half-way with fajita, and the other half with rice/bean leftovers. I was seriously impressed. The water tasted clean, unlike the occasional restaurant that serves dish-water flavored drinks, going cheap on the drink doesn’t make you gag here. The chips were good, not overly salted, not too thick nor too thin. The salsa was standard, nothing impressive but good. The queso was also standard, less chunky than some places, but that’s good in my book. The complimentary flour tortillas were hot, soft, appeared and tasted like they were made 20 seconds before we received them. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned. The steak was also juicy and well seasoned. Both had an adequate amount of what I call«fajita-char.» You know that amazingly tasty slightly burnt seeming seasoned line/side that lets you know it was fresh-flamed meat while it teases your tongue with it’s yum? Yeah: that stuff. Quite an excellent meal all together. Sour cream was good, so was the quac. I don’t care for pico, but it seemed adequate. I was pleased that the condiments did NOT cost extra, NOR were they placed on a pointless bed of shredded lettuce.(I hate that) Nope, not here. All the condiments were simply placed on a side-plate with minimal cross-contamination through touching. At the end they offered us complimentary sopapillas which were delicious but hard to eat with our bellies already ripping at the seam from fajita. Definitely think my wife and I could easily share a SINGLE fajita platter without a problem. Sadly there is a $ 5 fee for sharing(the standard for mexican restaurants with complimentary chips/salsa/queso/tortillas), but I am pleased to say they did NOT charge us that for sharing the double(which seems designed to be shared) or even for our 3 yr old(which is nice considering she rarely eats anything when we go out to eat, opting instead to eat later when we get home.)
