Fat Elvus Diner

Usually if a restaurant is dirty and unkempt, I will leave, but I called in the order to pick up so I thought I would try it. Your feet will stick to the floor with every step and it looks run down. Some people say it adds to the atmosphere, but I would rather it be cleaned up. The owner seems like a nice guy. He’s a big Elvis fan and has the side burns to prove it.
The burgers are good, the fries are better and the fried pickles are the best! I wish they would use fresh mushrooms instead of canned. We usually just get some fries and fried pickles every couple of months.

Great food and service and fun dive! I would go back next time I’m in town.

Cool place with old time diner feel and great hamburgers! Tons of old records in the walls and other random unique items all over!!! Not fancy food but very tasty. Will be back soon! If ur looking for a waiter/​waitress to wait on ur constantly go to a expensive restaurant.

Can’t believe we’ve passed by this place for so long without stopping by! A very good burger with extremely friendly service. My fiancé tried the Fat Elvus burger while I just kept it simple, but neither of us were disappointed! We topped it off with a side of cheese tots and a delicious chocolate malt. Can’t wait to come back!

This is a no frills fried onion burger shack. The food is good and the staff are always friendly. The place could use some cleaning or painting. However, I don’t go eat somewhere because of how it looks, I eat somewhere because of the food. The burgers, coneys, and French fries or Tater tots are great. If you ask nicely the owner will play the guitar and sing you a song.

Lets start by saying the facility has the look of a local iconic must stop! I loved the outdoor sign, the awesome wall décor, and of course… Elvis.
We went with some friends after a long hot drive and our stomachs were aching for some grub. I will start by saying the home cut french fries were incredible. The servings are of epic proportions! If we go again, I will have fries and a shake as I didnt partake in the shake this trip.
The burger was just so-​so. I was disappointed as burgers are my staple meal and I had heard really good things. It was not bad by any means, it just was not amazing. It came looking a little worse for the ware and the meat was not amazing.
I would recommend this as a fun place to cruise to and we will be back. Just be sure to make room for the awesome fries and a shake!

This is one of the places once you’ve been more than one time, they recognize you and know what you want. Great hamburgers & french fries — milkshakes are great. My niece had the chicken fried steak and it was amazing. Still want to try breakfast there, but I’m sure it is good. Fast, good, has wifi and they gave us cookies today to celebrate Christmas! So GOOD!

We just wanted to stop by for some smoothie. and their smoothie sucks.
It could be more creamy？ And more good looking? It’s like some random mix at home in some old looking plastic class.

Don’t bother even trying it. The food is fine. But they delivered an hour late. AN HOUR. Definitely not worth it even if it was excellent food. Which it’s not

Decided to give this place a try prior reviews weren’t that great but place was great. Perfect hole in the wall burger ordered the fat Elvis burger and fries. Everything was really good. We will definitely be back!

I have eaten here twice now. The food is pretty good for the price. I recommend the burgers and the fries. However the atmosphere is a different story. The atmosphere takes away the comfort from the food.
Both times we have gone in there the floors were dirty as heck and run down. The ceiling was nasty and the place looked very unsanitary. I thought maybe the first time it was just a mistake but nope. Also the place to sit is very small so everyone is into each other’s conversation. If my other half didn’t like their food, we probably wouldn’t go back.
This place needs to be cleaned and I can see it booming! I am rooting for you guys.

This is a conundrum. I’m not at all sure what to rate this place. I’m pretty sure we witnessed at least 30 health code violations here and just by the run-​down appearance of the restaurant we probably shouldn’t have ate here. Throw in the fact that we had a poor waitress, we really should have just left. But we didn’t. Which turned out ok. The food was decent, the fries were really good, and we survived the experience. I probably wouldn’t go back as the food didnt outweigh the terrible appearance of the place. But if you find yourself having to dine here, I guess you can take the chance.

Burger was very good. They have hand cut fries but they were very bland. The place looks very old and run down but I’d go back.

The place looks shabby and unsanitary.
But the burgers were pretty tasty.
We sat by where they cook, eyes burning from the smoke.
Owner guy has sideburns like Elvis.
