Midfirst Bank

Bad, bad bank. Based on my costly experience with this poorly-​run organization, I must urge all who listen to take their business elsewhere.
I opened a savings and checking account with Midfirst. Two months later I logged on to view my accounts online and found my balance to be ZERO. Turns out they had closed the accounts because they claim they could not verify my address even though I provided proof when I opened the accounts. They did not call me, they did not email. They sent letters to my home address even though I specifically instructed them to use my separate mailing address.
In addition to not having access to my money the day before the Thanksgiving holiday, I could not collect my paycheck due to a deflection of my direct deposit. And of course there was the inevitable check in the mail which will now bounce and cost me an additional fee.
When I demanded to have my account balances returned to me, I was told it would be mailed as a cashier’s check. Sent, of course, to the address they claim they could not verify! Yeah, that makes sense. Terrific. I’ll just wait for my money to be returned to me in the mail… hopefully.
Worst experience I’ve had with a bank in all my years.
