Candlewood Suites Yuma

Stayed here for three nights and found the place very well operated and clean so I give it a 4 ½ rating, if Unilocal would allow ½ stars.
The staff was friendly and efficient.
The room comfortable except for bad pillows and it was able to be cooled enough for comfortable sleeping.
The internet strength was strong and password protected so good on this item.
We did not use the cupboard so cannot speak to how well it was stocked.

Stayed here while in town for a ham radio event and was very happy with the quality. The people at the front desk were great, I give them 5 stars for their friendly service. The room was nice with a comfortable bed, 32″ flat screen tv that had good cable, full kitchen with full size frig. Had a table in my room with free internet so I was able to do my email on my laptop. They have a honor system snack room that was reasonably stocked and surprisingly reasonably priced. I had a couple cans of Dr Pepper at 50 cents a can and took a pack of ramen noodles to my room for $ 1 when I was too lazy to go out to eat.
Room could have been a bit bigger but at the same time was all I needed. Even had a nice recliner kick back and watch tv.
I will definitely stay here next time I’m in Yuma.

Spent a week here. Not bad but nothing special. Full kitchens, free WiFi and free use of the washer/​dryers. A/​C was a bit loud and hard to get the right temp. 70 was freezing and 73 was hot. Kind of strange. Most of the occupants appeared to be military. No food on site but all the food and shooping you need is 1 mile away. Plenty of parking, clean and safe.

I’ve been in the Candlewood Suites for over a week now and have had a good stay so far. The staff are very nice and willing to help out in any way neccessary. The room are decent size ad the kitchen area is decent. The one downside is the cupboards could be stocked a little better. More silverware would be good. Except for an Arby’s you can’t walk to anything, The bed is comfortable and the TV is a nice LG model. Would definitely stay here again. They also have free washers/​dryers which I find very nice.
Need to edit after finishing my stay. I stayed here for three weeks. I changed the rating from 4 to 3 stars for one reason. Bugs. My room had some small black bugs almost non stop, especially in the bathroom. I spoke to the gentleman working the over night shift and he said these were waterbugs from the field behind the hotel. I found one on my pillow when I was going to bed one night. A friend stayed on the 2^nd floor and never saw them. I also never saw any signs of a pest control business the three weeks I was there.
I need to come back in August for work again and I’m staying at the Town Place Marriott now.
Now staff here (except for the girl on 2^nd shift) but the bugs are enough to change my opinion.
