On 10−10−15 I brought my car in for a new tire after popping it while camping at the Colorado River. I changed the tire using my lug nut key and drove straight to the shop. They changed my tire. Everything was fine. A month ago I realized I never got my lug nut key back so I made an appointment with the car dealer in San Diego to have the lugs removed and buy new ones with a new key. They informed me that I didn’t have locking lug nuts. My complaint is that while I was at the shop in Yuma one of the service technicians swapped out my locking lug nuts for regular lug nuts. I called and tried to get the situation resolved. The manager asked me to go to a Discount Tire center here in San Diego and have a manger call him to talk about it, which I did. Nothing was resolved. My guess is the lug nuts were either sold or kept by someone for their own car. I’m pretty upset that they would take advantage of me especially since I’m the one who changed the tire using the key to do it. I handed it to the guy there and he did not give it back when I left.

First time at this location for a tire leak. They took my car in right away and provided great customer service! I would return again.

I had originally taken my tire to get patched up on base but they told me I couldn’t because the nail was within the outer inch of the tire wall. After Unilocaling a tire shop (thanks Unilocal), we found this place and went to it just 20 min before it was closed. Ian helped us out and told us that he can try and see if he could patch it up. Twenty minutes later, we’re driving away with a patched up tire at no cost. They also torqued the lugs and aired all four tires. Random fact: they let me stay in the car because I was in uniform. Very professional and courteous service, we definitely will make this our go-​to and recommend it to anyone with tire issues.

I ended up here with a giant spring sticking out of my tire. I showed up and they had me fixed up in no time. Not only that they hand torqued my lug nuts and didn’t charge me a dime. I am a Discount Tire/​Americas Tire customer for life now.

Tires… I’ve ruined so many in my car driving history. I remember the first blow out I had — I called my Chevy Dealership and they told me that going to Discount Tire would be much more cost effective and the quality would be equal to that of going to a dealership. Since that day 6 years ago, I have only gone to Discount Tires. My tire/​wheel were damaged in Yuma on my way to Phoenix. Unfortunately, Discount Tires was closed for the evening, but I was able to schedule an appointment online to be seen first thing at 8am the next day. The best thing about having your tires/​wheels from Discount Tire is that they really appreciate your business by showing you loyalty. My tire was damaged and replaced for free — which they do for all tires bought at Discount Tire. They replaced my tire and wheel in 20 minutes flat and got me back on the road quickly. The gentleman explained all the costs upfront to me and made a stressful event pretty easy peezy.

Great service at a very expedient manner. I’ve bought tires and had more repaired here. Repairs are free and the tires come with payment plans if you can’t afford them outright. The customer service reps are very respectful as well.

We live in Phoenix but we were in Yuma visiting family and unfortunately got a nail in one of tires. I was totally impressed with the staff at this location. They were vey nice and their service was extraordinary. We were in and out in about 10 minutes and the best part was that it was absolutely free to patch our tire. I will definatley keep them in mind for my next tire purchase.

So far so good. My mother and I noticed there was something wrong with one of our car’s tires. We discovered it was not maintaining any air and so we decided to take it to the company to check it. They were going to charge us $ 15.00. Okay, then we decided to go to discount tire. We noticed it was busy, but I understand why. The employees were nice. They checked the tire and it had a nail. They fixed it and we paid nothing for it. They gave us a free inspection! Just great!

I spoke with Alex. He provided curteous service and without hesitation brought out a tire for me to see upon my request. After settling with a tire of my choice he said it would take about 45 mins to install. Being crunched on time, I said 30 mins. He said he couldnt do it on that time frame due to their work load so I said ok, 45 mins. 49 mins later, I was driving out of the parking lot with a new set of Michelin tires on my f250. As always, pleasure doing business with them.

Above and Beyond Great Service! Easter weekend 2014 my 20 yo daughter was traveling from Phoenix to San Diego and an hour outside Yuma when she ran over a nail and blew her right rear tire. Highway patrol changed the tire for her since she was in a sling (FYI: my daughter was taught to change her own tires, oil and brakes) but couldn’t change the tire alone this time. I had called ahead to Yuma and got Shawn the store manager of Discount Tire on 32^nd st on the phone. He said she wouldn’t make it to him before the store closed, but he said to call him when she did get there and he would come back and make sure she had a new tire and was safe to continue driving. My daughter ended up getting to Shawn and his staff 10 minutes after they shut everything down and these guys re-​opened up a bay, changed her tire, made sure she was ok and stayed with her until it was all done. Then told her where to go for gas and food safely and get back to I8.
That is old fashioned class. You never hear of managers or employee’s wanting to stay late at work for anyone and especially on a Holiday Weekend. These guys are awesome and deserve your business simply because they will respect you and take care of you.

Went in to have my lug nuts checked/​tightened (bought my tires at Discount so they will do this free) with no appointment. The shop was busy but Gary had me pull right into the bay and tightened them himself in about 2 minutes. I was in and out. Great customer service, thank you!!!

We drove out to Martinez Lake Friday from San Diego for a quick weekend trip wit friends. When we parked, we apparently ran over some thorny branches and punctured the side walls on 2 tires. Lovely. We didn’t discover this until Saturday morning when we pulled out a thorn and could hear the air escaping. We quickly pushed the thorn back in. lol. We called around to see what tire shop was open on Sunday bc we didn’t want to waste our Saturday fixing tires when we were supposed to be on the water. No one is open Sunday I could find/​trusted. So we called Discount Tires to make an appointment hoping to save us time. They don’t take appointments but Sean must have felt sympathetic for us on the phone and told us to look for him when we arrived. Sure enough, he took care of us. He had added us to the wait list right then and there. We were in and out in 20 minutes. Still had plenty of day to enjoy the water. He was friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. If we ever need a tire out that way again, Discount Tires will get our business. And we will refer everyone to them as well. Thanks for saving our weekend Sean!

A good place to buy tires. I purchased 4 new tires but 2 at a time. The first two I had not purchased the warranty for, but when I purchased the last two, they let me make up for my mistake. I am glad I did because I had a screw in one of my tires just recently and they fixed it with no questions asked. Good customer service also, they try to make you comfortable while you wait and they also give you free water bottles for those hot days!

Excellent customer service. I took my car in for a pair of tires this past weekend. As I expected the service was great BUT the made mistake. I took it back today. I was met before I reached the door. I explained my situation. The took responsibility and made NO excuses. They rectified the problem quickly and way beyond my expectations and got me on my way. Was it inconvenient that I had to go back? Sure. I was ready to put my b@$ch hat on but there was no need to. Thanks for the great customer service guys. I will definitely be returning for my future tire needs.

I am 68 years old and I have never had a better tire buying experiance than I had today at Discount Tire on 32^nd street in Yuma Arizona. I am a snowbird and I will make my tires last until I can get back to Yuma and discount tire. You just don’t find service like this very often Thank you Discount tire of Yuma.

I go there for all my tires. They are always nice and helpful every time I go there. The wait is normally about 45 min but it goes fast. Keep in mind its the only one in Yuma so they are always busy.

The only tire company I will ever shop at in Yuma! Awesome customer service here! I took my car in to air up my tires, and they have a free pull up lane. NO need to even wait! Then my tire had a nail in it later I realized, and they repaired it free of cost even though it was not purchased originally from them! They have always gone out of their way to help me. They even give me other options of things to do that will save me money EVEN with a different company. I completely recommend them!

This has to be the best tire company ever. They are the same company as America’s Tire Company. I went here with full intention of buying a brand new tire to replace my flat. They instead said «If we can fix the current one you have to be good enough for the road, we wont even sell you a new one». COMPANIES lIKE THIS ARE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN! Not only did they fix my flat tire but they put my spare back under my truck and everything, all for free. Fantastic company, I would reccomend this place to anyone.
