We stopped by for breakfast burritos on our way to San Diego. Burritos and donuts were delicious and the service was very friendly. Lots of burrito choices! We had a veggie burrito and egg/potato/bacon burrito. Definitely stopping here again!

Love everything about this place. The shop has an old coffee shop feel but with updated décor. The donuts are fabulous and there is always a great selection. The burritos are by far the best item there! Come hungry!

The first visit to the corral supported recommendation… maple donut cake and yeast very good and I know previous orders of breakfast burritos have been well received.

Doughnut coral has the best doughnuts I have ever had in my life. The people that worked there are very nice and the prices are great. Love supporting local businesses.

Great donuts and breakfast burritos! Always fresh and the owners and staff are awesome. Skip the chain donut places that don’t even make their donuts fresh, and get the real deal.

We really enjoy taking company to get donuts and breakfast burritos. Everything is always fresh and well priced. Our favorites are the Pecan Caramel Cinnamon Rolls and Maple Bars! Everyone we have ever taken here always wants to go back when visiting us. We are glad they stay open all year for us who live here year round.

It’s pretty damn hard to find some decent donut shops and breakfast joints in Yuma, at least if you’re coming form San Diego. So your discriminating tastes might need to take a hit. However, there is hope 6 days out of the week for some quality donuts and pastries among the Foothills of Yuma in the form of Donut Corral. Even though I made it in here pretty late on a Monday, somewhere around 11 if I recall correctly, there were still a decent amount of donuts left but their pastries were looking pretty barren. As for the donuts, there were still some custard, buttermilks, twists, holes, old fashioned, etc. left while I was there. There were only a couple pastries left but I decided to snag this awesome looking cinnamon pull apart pastry, a custard filled with maple glaze and a maple buttermilk donut. Their maple custard filled donuts are top notch, they are always my go to donuts along with the maple buttermilks, if you’re a donut shop that can do these right, then you’re worthy. Donut Corral is definitely worthy. Additionally, that cinnamon pull apart was ridiculously good. I’m just going to tell you to get it. That’s all. They also serve burritos, croissants and some other miscellaneous, small breakfast bites. Anyway, I love this joint and I’ll probably be back next time I’m in town and hopefully I’ll get an earlier start. I really want first dibs on the selection before the masses deplete their inventory. It’s a little difficult coming from a city that has about a 100 donut shops to a city that has about 3. Luckily I’ve found that Donut Corral seems to be the best in Yuma and they can definitely get me that small town donut fix while away from the big city.

About a month ago, I bought a dozen donuts for the office and they were well received. Recently, my gf and I decided to go for a sit-down breakfast now that we live in the ‘hood. We arrived at around 8:45 on a Saturday morning and just beat the rush. The line was out the door for the duration of our breakfast. As neither of us are sugar fiends, we opted for a couple of the classic glazed donuts. Whatever donut you order, it will be pretty big. The cinnamon rolls and apple fritters are so big they look a little vulgar. I’ve tried the maple and chocolate donuts but they are too sweet. They have muffins as well, if you’re not into donuts. We also shared a small breakfast burrito. For the other 2 vegetarians in this town, they will make you a veggie burrito if you ask. They don’t list this as an option on the menu board, but it can be done. Our burrito had eggs, potatoes, cheese, and mixed veggies(peppers, onions, etc). It also came with a side of salsa which really helped boost the flavor. If you want to go paleo, they also make omelets. My gf had a Styrofoam cup of Lipton. She wasn’t über-impressed but sort of liked the retro vibe of drinking industrial tea from a Styrofoam cup. like Kojak did back in the 70s… baby. Except it was coffee. Anyway, as we all know Styrofoam is bad for the environment so for our future visits, we’ll bring our commuter cups. Otherwise, the service was fairly fast and friendly and the restaurant was clean. BOTTOMLINE: The donuts and burritos are fresh and tasty but try not to order with your eyes. Your stomach may regret it later. :-0 Look elsewhere to get your caffeine on.

It was alright. I was more impressed with the people I met inside than with the food. I drove 20 minutes from the other end of town to try the breakfast burritos everyone’s been raving about, and to me, they were… meh. Kind of tasteless, much better after I added the salsa, but I felt like there were too much potatoes vs eggs. I also got a chocolate bavarian cream donut. The donuts here are HUGE. For about $ 1 apiece, you get your money’s worth for sure. As for the taste, it didn’t really taste like chocolate to me. More like faint maple syrup, but it was alright. But again, I was really impressed with the people who run the place. Before walking in, I was greeted by someone sweeping outside, then greeted by two other people inside. They were patient while I ordered and asked questions, and listening to their conversations while I waited for my food was pretty entertaining. They’re genuinely nice people. Also it’s less of a walk-in-walk-out donut shop and more like a sit down restaurant. Very clean and bright, and I imagine it would be a nice place to sit for a cup of coffee and a donut. Or a burrito!

Absolutely amazing breakfast burritos! The donuts look fantastic, but I haven’t indulged, so I can’t say. The Mennonite ladies who run the place are delightful, but that does mean it isn’t open on Sundays. Cash or check only!

I’ve definitely had way better donuts. I’m probably spoiled by the amazing donut ship by my place(see my review of Plaza Donut in San Diego). But we were traveling through and couldn’t pass up breakfast at a five star reviewed shop. I’ll say this: they’re a good sized donut. But they’re pretty heavy, not really the light fluffy raised donuts we’re used too, very dough-y. The chocolate frosting on the ones we got was thick and gooey, more like cake frosting. It was melty and good, but too rich for a donut I think. Not even my fudge obsessed 5yr old could finish his donut ring. And he’ll eat TWO everywhere else. Total spent :$ 13.10 for 3 bottled cold drinks and 6 donuts. Like I said, a little over priced I think, but a filling donut for sure. So… Middle of the road for me. Obviously this won’t be a regular stop for us(we only make the San Diego to Phoenix drive a couple times a year) but if we get another donut craving on the way, this beats the gas station or Dunkin.

Let me start off by saying their burritos are Awesome. It all goes down hill from there. Don’t go here if you’re hungry, the wait times are unbearable. The donuts are decent, but considering they are right down the road from one of the best donut joints in the country, kind of a waste. Not to mention they’re a bit pricey(or maybe I’m just cheap.) The donuts are bland, the coffee is weak, the burrito’s take forever. Worth waiting for if you can plan ahead and get your breakfast burrito… but not really.

WOW! This place is fantastic. The breakfast burritos are so delish and their donuts are to die for. I’m not a big fan of the hours though– I wish they were open more often! I like the staff, they were very friendly and welcoming when I walked in.

Love the breakfast burritos & donuts! They also make yummy home style meals you can take home & heat up later for dinner; like the enchiladas! The ladies who work there are so nice too. Oh! & try their brownie!
