The worst Fry’s ever. I went to this one on a road trip. On the way back, I bought sushi.(I bought it on the way there and didn’t get sick). I was so sick that I had to leave work and I couldn’t eat for 3 days. I contacted their corporate office. They basically told me to go into that same Fry’s and report it. It’s about 2.5 hours from my house without traffic, one way. They expect me to take a day off work, have a 5 hour drive to report that their sushi made me sick. Um no. I guess some companies just suck. Im going to be shopping there less if at all. I just hope that if anyone else gets food poisoning that they live close by. So don’t buy ready to eat food from that Fry’s. Ever.

My time here is done. I will stop my shopping here after nearly 10 years of patronage. I have bought the majority of all my grocery needs at this store, and now will only use it for a quick item here and there. Why, you ask? Because they haven’t bothered to learn my name. I used to go in very early morns, to avoid crowds. And, while they recognized my cherubic face, no name followed the greeting they are supposed to chant. The other reason is that I have had to drastically alter my diet. Shoes is not so light on his feet anymore! I started to buy those little 4 pack protein drinks about 6 months ago. At that time they were $ 6.99÷4 pack. A month or two later Frys raised the price to $ 8.99÷4 pack! It was cost prohibitive. Then about two weeks ago Frys dropped it back to $ 6.99 «special cost savings, Frys saves you money» crap. So, I called them on it. I called the drink makers. I called Frys corporate offices, I filled out the«Kroger feedback survey». I asked for a call back and it still hasn’t happened. Can anyone say deceptive marketing? Wal-Mart wants to build a marketplace store here in town. I’m just saying.

Middle of the road supermarket carrying mostly basics. Semi-helpful staff — the cashier didn’t know the price of one item and practically sent me to go and find out for him. Wow! The store is big, clean but quite boring. I’ll have to find how the competition’s doing — I hope better.

First time at Fry’s and I was not disappointed. They had a good selection of produce and groceries. In my opinion I would like a larger selection of organic items. Staff were somewhat friendly, I guess I can’t complain. They definitely have better prices than Albertson’s, but not as good as Walmart. However, I will pay the extra buck or two and avoid the 45 minute check out time at Walmart. Time is money! I believe the Fry’s located in the foothills is much nicer. I will have to stop on by. Overall, not a bad place and close to my new home.

The Fry’s in town is subpar to the one in the Foothills. It does however have more specialty items in comparison to Albertsons down the street. Also, they do not have Boars Head meats at the deli counter.

This is a nice grocery store. It costs less than the Albertson’s down the block. I would say that the produce section here is one of the downsides. It certainly isn’t as large as Albertson’s. Also don’t confuse this Fry’s with the one in the foothills.

In Yuma there are around 5 places to get grocery(Fry’s, Walmart, Albertsons, Food City and Del Sol). For our family Fry’s gets the majority of our business because they actually know us!!! I love walking into places and the people in there know you by name. Unlike Walmart drones that rotate out faster then you can blink an eye. With that said there are the pros and cons: Pros: — Sales are cheap. We normally pick up 12 packs of brand name soda for 2.25 each!!! Also milk, eggs, and cheese are normally on sale every week. — Produce is fresh and with plenty of selection. We normally only buy our produce from Fry’s that and the produce guys know my family. — Employees are happy and friendly. Most of them look like they want to be at work. They normally dress up during Halloween and during major sporting events. — They have carts with cars attached to the front of them for the kids… This is excellent for kids that have short attention span.(not that any of them do…) Cons: — Bulk items will be cheaper at Walmart if they are not on sale. This is understandable since Walmart moves the volume and cans don’t spoil. — Not as big as the Fry’s in the foothills. That store is huge!!! and they have sushi.

Was visiting from California and amazed at the size of this store. Never been in such a huge store w vast grocery selections. I was impressed. Wish there were stores in Calif.

Overall, pretty good — especially when compared to the other main options available in Yuma. The store is clean and fairly well organized, There was a relatively good selection of organic and vegetarian items and the produce semed well-stocked and pretty fresh. I will say the dolma from the olive bar was delicious — worth the splurge. The prices are comparable, but nothing to write home about. Not too many cons when compared to what’s available around here — could be a better variety of some speciality items but perhaps there’s no market for it. All in all, it was a positive experience and I will return for my regular grocery shopping.

This is a good comprehensive grocery store. Good prices, good selection, seems to be organized and not too cramped. There is a Redbox outside where you can rent a DVD for $ 1. I bought a reusable bag; I plan to shop here again.

NOTE: I haven’t tried many other grocery stores in town(Fry’s, Albertson’s, Wal-mart). ATMOSPHERE: Clean, well-organized. PRODUCTS: Good enough selection with fresh produce. Enough to keep the basics well-stocked. They have a little store in the front that sells ice cream, agua de frescas and a variety of freshly pre-prepared items such as guacamole, ceviche, pico de gallo, gelatin desserts, etc. It’s always crowded around there so it seems very popular. I tried the coconut agua de fresca and it was nice but a bit too sweet for me. They also have a chinese place in the back which seems to be popular at dinner time. PRICES: Prices are very fair and when they have sales even fairer. No complaints here. PARKING: No problems in the store parking lot. CONCLUSION: For now this seems to be my main grocery store during the week besides Wal-mart. If only they would price match then it would be perfect!

Fry’s is THE place to buy groceries in Yuma. The prices are mostly lower than competitors, service is solid, it is clean and spacious, there’s a decent selection, etc.
