Jet Rent

Rented two Quads from here last week. Very nice people to deal with. Quads were in good shape.

The pontoon boat is a pile of crap. You believe you are getting quality for the price you pay to rent it, but the only thing that worked on the boat was the engine and steering. Very slow boat, 60hp motor. The complete dash did not work, including the gas gauge. The radio did not work, the front navigation lights did not work, the rear navigation light was missing, so even after replacing the fuse for the lights, we still couldn’t use the boat at night because of the missing light. I found the warning buzzer for the engine disconnected that warns you if the engine has a problem. I reconnected it and found the reason why it was disconnected was it always sounds. I am sure you will lose your deposit if the engine overheats because there is no warning system connected. No gauges, no buzzer, nothing. Also, the battery must be disconnected or else it will die because of a draw somewhere. Obviously the boat is not maintained at all. I would give the value of the boat at a two day rental fee. Oh, the gas tank is empty when you pick it up and whatever is in it when you return it is your loss, use it or lose it! We asked, this is the only boat they have, so if you rent the boat, this is the pile of crap you will get. We will not be renting from this place again.

I rented a brand new jet ski ran great: if you want to rent jet skis I recommend this place. But shop around their daily price is a little higher

Great experience here. We are a very active family, I was stoked to find they have everything we needed!30 different kind of off roading toys. What a dream come true.
Reasonable rates and excellent customer service. Will definitely be back during the winter!

Alrite. let me start by underlining the fact that is most important to me personally and compelled me to write a review for Jet Rent — Customer Service! A 5-​star review is testament to the fact that you will be awed — The owners are very nice people and would work with you to ensure that you have an amazing experience irrespective of your skill-​level (we were a bunch of novices to that effect). Even to the extent that they did not charge us for the extra time that we took to get used to the equipment.
Now that I have talked about service, I will move on to the equipment: We were a group of 5 folks geared-​up to try our hand at ATVing and thus rented 3 Honda 250 cc quads and 1 Yamaha 700 cc Rhino. The equipment was in very good shape/​well-​maintained and we did not face even the slightest bit of issue with it. As far as the logistics are concerned, the owner has a couple of 4×4 trucks along with the trailers which you can rent to reach the actual ATVing site (yes it takes you about 20 minutes one-​way from the rental site).
The prices seemed reasonable for the area and were definitely cheaper than renting equipment in one of the more popular tourist destinations in AZ. Overall, very satisfied with my experience at Jet Rent and would recommend this place without any qualms!

They have a wide variety of equipment from beginners to pros. Really good customer service. They answered all the questions for us 5 novice riders. We ordered 3 ATV’s and 1 rhino which worked great for a group of 5. The owner even rented us his truck and trailer for additional $ 40, which was great for our travel.
We were 15 minutes late, but the owner was nice enough to let us go without any additional prorated charges. Next time I am around, I am definitely going to these guys.
N.B.Try accounting for filling gas in vehicles and travel time to the dunes.

Super easy, plenty of equipment available so we just told them the time and the day and they had 2 quads ready. We grabbed helmets and goggles that fit, they gave us a dunes permit and the ball hitch, attached the trailer to the Jeep and we were off. They gave us 30 min to get to/​from the dunes so we only paid for the hours we were actually riding. Equipment was in great condition, no stalls or choke-​starts or battery problems. We had the quads back at the designated time, they unloaded them and parked their trailer and we were on the way home again. Effortless on our part, nice people to deal with, easy reservations and equipment check-​out and even a super cute pit bull that hangs out at the store :) Would definitely rent from them again!

Driving in to the parking lot, you might be befuddled as to where JetRent actually is. The address for JetRent is the location of a water store, but that’s just a front. The real action is in the back, past the padlocked gates where almost 30 different off-​roading vehicles are available for rent.
If you look lost, Mark (the owner) and Clarence might wander over and ask you if are looking for their business.
Single rider ATV’s are available for rent here from around $ 20/​hr for children’s rentals to $ 35/​hour for adults. Two-​seater 700cc Yamaha Rhino ATV’s are available for $ 45/​hr. They have a selection of water craft as well, which are also rentable by the hour or the day. The prices are really reasonable for a 2 or 3 hour ride and their day rates are good as well. Gas not included. If you need transportation for your ATV’s, they can also drop off and pick you up at Imperial Sand Dunes for $ 40 round trip for up to 4 ATV’s.
They take great care of their vehicles (Clarence changes the oil in a jet ski seven times when its engine gets flooded with water) and this makes them great to ride.
It’s a bit of a wonder why they didn’t make our hero sign a waiver or buy insurance before they rented a Rhino out to him. Shortly after Mark dropped him off, our hero had managed to flip a 1140 pound four-​wheel machine on its side into a gully by gunning it over a 45 degree dune at 30 MPH. Those things were not easy to flip back up.
PROS:
— Two gas stations right across the street for convenient fill-​ups.
— Well maintained ATV’s and watercraft.
— Knowledgeable staff.
CONS:
— They’ve raised ATV drop-​off prices from $ 25 up to $ 40 recently due to rising gas prices.
