Chinese buffet is kind of like sex. When it’s good, its really good and when it’s bad, it’s still pretty good. You know what they say– variety is the spice of life. I’m talking about the food here. With so many dishes you’re bound to find a few that you will enjoy. On the first plate I recommend you grab just a bite size of each item to get a taste so you don’t waste their food. Yes there are a few that are really bad and most dishes are overly greasy except the steamed ones. The Mongolian plate was swimming in grease. It had more oil than sauce. All the other dishes range from mediocre to good. The sushi rolls were surprisingly good for a buffet place. I also love the salt and pepper shrimp. After having tasted everything I think I went back for the shrimps and sushi. Those alone are worth the price of admission.

Great to be back in Yuma. I love Lin’s Grand Buffet. It is a really great place to eat. We got there at the time the doors open at 11:00. Very relaxing atmosphere.

This place is on the downside of being a viable business that previously served passable food. Patronize at your own risk.

Let me start off by saying I am typically not a fan of Asian food buffets. This one was an exception the food was good the selection was vast. I appreciated the fact that they had more than just Asian food for someone like me who doesn’t eat a lot of Asian food. The only big issue I had was the service. It was almost impossible to get a drink refill.

Pretty good food, LOVE the Mongolian grill. Service was poor, constantly trying to get someone’s attention for another drink. Which is always a huge negative point in my book. Overall pretty satisfied, I’d definitely return, but not with it as my first choice of dining for the evening

The Mongolian grill had limited items but the quality of what they offer is fresh and tasted really good. The waitress was attentive and very nice. Good lunch.

Is there a way to select zero stars. All the bling and money spent to build this place and they serve crappie food like any other Asian buffet. Service was even worse! Couldn’t find our server to refill our water or get napkins. So many other great restaurants in Yuma and we wasted a night here…

I can see why Lin’s is so popular in Yuma. There are few buffets here in lettuce country and anything that is nicer than the standard sub-par«Asian» buffet is bound to attract attention. If you are looking for tons of food at a reasonable price, then come here. Since I was actually wanting to fill my tummy with tons o’food, this place fit the bill. I just biked my first double century two days ago and last night’s visit was a celebration of sorts as well as a physical requirement; after biking 200 miles, my appetite has grown to match that of Godzilla’s. My parents wanted to take my cycling buddy and I somewhere that would fill us up well, so we came to Lin’s. The restaurant is large, open, and fairly clean, although the staff could have been a bit more attentive to the floors in parts of the place. Food is found in the center section: sushi, Mongolian(order-to-grill), and steak in the back center, then a few rows of various Asian-inspired items. Dessert offerings include pudding(banana, chocolate, tapioca), jello, and store bought cakes and cookies on plates. Steamed rice is located beside the soup. I would think that the food here is fairly fresh because of the restaurant’s popularity. High volume means high turnover. I enjoyed my dinner, but would have liked it more if my green beans and other veggies weren’t so oily. Skip the dessert, unless you like jello and pudding(which I do, so I didn’t skip dessert!). Service is all right, but not stellar.

Food selection was pretty good and so was our server. The only bad thing was the table they sat us at. Kinda small for party of 7.

If you want to consume a meal of mediocre Chinese food that will fulfill your entire daily caloric allowance for the day, Lin’s is the place. Most of the Chinese food was without flavor and greasy all the way through. The broccoli was fresh and well cooked; a pleasant surprise. The most successfully cooked items on the line were the chicken nuggets, but they did not exceed the quality of the frozen supermarket variety. The Mongolian Grill is passable, though a little over salted. If you’re like me and thought they might make up for it in the dessert line, let me dispel that lovely illusion for you. The cream puff tasted like it was filled with cheap convenience store frosting, only with less sugar. Granted, I probably brought that on myself by eating a cream puff at a Chinese Buffet. All in all, a disappointing meal, though I had great company and have no complaints about the service. All the staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. It’s worth noting that none of the food was truly terrible(except that dastardly cream puff), but I can think of about 25 other places that would be less expensive and tastier venues to get my eat on.

As I review Lin’s, I am measuring it against the variety of(generally crappy) Asian buffets that I have come across in my lifetime. I’m usually not, but in this instance where my party was looking to load up on massive amounts of quality food on the cheap, Lin’s absolutely delivered. One thing you’ll notice about Lin’s is that it’s pretty darn immaculate for a buffet. I love the very open look of the building, and the buffet rows, stations, etc. are very neatly ordered and well-maintained. As with any massive buffet, some items are of course better than others. The General Tso’s was up there among the better ones I’ve had. The two stations that impressed me the most, though, were the sushi and Mongolian BBQ stops. I was pretty hesitant to even try sushi in Yuma, but I am glad I did: both the spicy tuna and the crunchy shrimp were items I would get an even a full-stop sushi joint. The Mongolian BBQ brought a freshness and liveliness of flavor that one is not apt to find in a sushi environment. I was pretty disappointed with the dessert offerings(having real ice cream, maybe just vanilla and green tea, would go a long way here), but I was so incredibly stuffed that it was probably for the best.

Go somewhere else, the food is not very good, place is dirty and noisy. Of the two servers in our section one of them could have not cared if she helped us at all. When I asked her for a knife she said«they are up there you can go get one for yourself». Wonton soup had no wantons, Most food did not have much taste and was not very warm. Skip this place, we will not go back. It would be no great loss to Yuma if they close.

Staff is nice and there is a great variety of food. You pay before you sit and can even add a tip. The buffet is clean but could be cleaner. The bathrooms were. well clean enough I guess… I gave it 4 stars cause I wasn’t expecting to get a mouth full of msg which made me sick :(I’m not sure if they advertise«no msg» but I sure got a taste… unfortunately aside from that it is a great buffat with a nice variety. Yes I purposely spelt it that way cause when you get to a buffet such as Lins be sure to wear sweats and expect a couple of extra pounds ;) **Please note dinner is served after 4pm and all day sat/sun** there is a lunch buffet M-F before 4pm.

This is one of my favorite buffets in Yuma. The food is delicious and the service has been great so far. I have not experienced any disappointments yet. The only negative expression I may share is that the buffet does not have a variety of deserts, or at least the staff should add more deserts. Anyways, I’ll give it 5 starts for how well they have been doing since they opened.

This place like most in Yuma is great when it first opens up but then it goes down hill at full speed. The hostess seemed totally annoyed when we asked for a booth. The table was still sticky from the last people and there was food on the chairs no one bothered to clean obvious food, The chairs are all sticky when you grab one to move it from all the people/kids not wiping their hands from sticky food, its kind of gross. This kind of makes you wonder what they are doing to the food. THere is plenty of food but they don’t seem to care about the quality they are putting out anymore. Yes it is a buffet but having pride in you business and putting out a quality product is what keeps people coming back. The waiter was great we were curtious to him and he was curtious back.

Pretty much a run of the mill Chinese stuff your face buffet. Not much to say however if you’re really hungry and don’t care what you’re eating this place will meet your needs. A small step up from Golden Corral. If you’re using Unilocal chances are you’ll be skipping this place.
