My friend ordered a chimichanga and they may as well call it a shittychanga. I ordered the beef enchiladas which were incredibly bland and didn’t taste any different than the chimi. The Margarita was just premixed store bought marg mix. The experience overall was not much better than eating a week old taco from under the seat of your car.

If you love the Pepes special(house speciality) than you will love the breakfast plate. Slow cooked pork in a tomatillo sauce that isn’t green. I’m not sure how they do it but it’s a bit of vinegar tasting with roasted pepper and it’s awesome. The beans are creamy and the side potatoes are good. The tortillas were warm and came with enough for the meal. The salsa is refrigerated so don’t be concerned when you take a bite and have a cool tomato in your mouth. The huevos rancheros is a red sauce with onions and tomatoes which is a fun change of pace.

I love the original Manjares and the sequel didn’t disappoint. Their coffee is so good. SOSTINKINGOOD!!! And their breakfast potatoes too. Everything is delicious. It’s a must have when I’m in Yuma. Service is great as well. :)

The chicken enchiladas are my favorite and are very flavorful. The homemade agua de arroz is refreshing and delicious. All the dishes I’ve had here are well worth it. Definitely my favorite Mexican restaurant in town.

Best enchiladas in town! The breakfast burrito is well worth it! The service here is also amazing. Good beer and wonderful staff. Never had a bad meal or service!

Great Mexican food at a good price. The horchata is homemade and delicious with quality cinnamon. We had Pepe’s special, pork in tomatilla sauce. Pork was tender and flavorful. The dish comes with perfect tortillas — thin and tender. The green burrito enchilada style was also a winner.

Gave this place a shot cuz of the reviews. 8 of us went in ordered different things. The chimichanga doesn’t taste like one. Just like a burrito. Missing the cheese in the chimi. Meat lacked seasoning and tacos were bland. Service is nice though. Posole was watery lacked flavor. Really watery. Small place so if it’s lunch time or breakfast rush hours no where to sit. Have to wait for seats. Won’t be coming back here. Just not worth it. Wish people would be more honest about their reviews.

Love their Pastor wether taco or burrito. The senior menu is very satisfying. I don’t eat a lot of food at each meal so most of their offerings make for two meal for me.

As a lover of Mexican food I am very disappointed. It’s Cinco de Mayo and my heart is broken. Second time here and not happy. The Caldo de Res was horrible, almost like drinking a water soup with vegetable garnish. Not coming back.

If you want authentic Mexican food this is the place to go! For lunch/dinner I recommend the Pepe’s Special burrito enchilada style. For breakfast the chilaquiles are my favorite.

Excellent customer service! They are always attentive and friendly when I go in. They food is traditional southwest mexican food and is always consistent. I suggest the Pozole with all the fixings. I have also had the Potatoe Flautas which were tasty. The salsa is by far one of the best around town. The fifth star is missing for lack of seating and space. Other than that, overall great place!

By far the best Mexican food in the Fortuna Foothills area. These people truly have a knack for great tasting, authentic Mexican food at a great price… there enchiladas are by far some of the best I’ve tasted on either side of the border. If you have an opportunity make sure you check out their specials of the day… Their steak rancheros are not too spicy, delicious and full of flavor. If you have the opportunity you should sit down inside the restaurant because their chips and dip is world-class. If you like real tacos and then make sure you order them loaded because they come with delicious cheese, diced tomatoes and exquisite guacamole. Make sure you order their cocoa flan if it’s available; delicious, light and fluffy. Personally I think these guys could easily handle a larger space, but what they lack in square footage they easily make up for with great service and high quality food.

I’ve eaten authentic Mexican food in Baja and other places south of the border. When Pepe is cooking it is absolutely fabulous! Waitress is the best in yuma as well. My wife and I always feel welcome even when they are very busy. The weekdays are the best time to eat.

Had family in for the weekend and they all wanted breakfast burritos. Our favorite breakfast burrito place in the Foothills is not open on Sunday so we decided to give this place a try. We were all pleasantly surprised! Very tasty… we will be back!

Great hole in the wall Mexican Restaurant. The food is fresh, and authentic. Service is friendly though a little forgetful. I recommend the burrito al pastor. The menudo, and the breakfast burrito. This is hands down the best Mexican food I have had in the Foothills. Stop in and say hi to the owner who loves to welcome his guests. His name is done Pepe.

It was good but not great. I liked the hole in the wall feel. The food could have been a little better.
