Great spot in little old Yuma. Very helpful ladies and delicious coffee. So much better than a chain place where they herd you through the line like cattle. Lots of atmosphere and charm. Most of all we love the fact that they provide free meals for those in need. We will return.

Best coffee in town and Jules, the owner, is an absolute genius with these choc chip cookies! The Americano is bold, earthy and delicious! Also they’re very reasonably priced! Finally, the atmosphere is on point, making you feel like you’re in a quaint, French coffee house. Amazing place to unwind.

I recently gave this coffeehouse a try on my last visit to Yuma and now I have a go to place for coffee for future visits… nice ambiance and good coffee… yay!

This is a nice little gem in downtown Yuma. I ordered a capuccino with a shot of tiramisu and it was delicious. The barista was attentive, asking me how I’d likely drink prepared, which is something most Starbucks baristas forget to do. I love the décor and would definitely return when I’m in Yuma.

What a nice little place to find on Sunday morning, thanks to all the Unilocal reviews. The city was still very empty when we got there at 10am. I was greeted friendly by amazing smell, a fluffy little dog and the barista! I ordered a 16 oz latte made with almond milk, if that’s without sugar, sometimes they only have the sweetened stuff but not here. I also wanted one of the scones but unfortunately they were in the oven at that moment. I think it’s just fair to take off one star for that, I mean if you offer them they should be ready also, no? That being said the coffee was excellent. They also offer coffee beans for sale and other little snacks like cookies. I found the locally made jams and other stuff nice they had also! No raw sugar was a little disappointing but being able to drink this great, strong latte made all a perfect start into Sunday. If I come back to Yuma I return and hope to try these scones!

I like the location. Very quiet. I tried these chocolate covered dates from *Productos Los Tres Soles… Surprisingly enjoyed them plus they where only $ 4.26. All in all I will be coming back and echoing my Vance & Hines off the late 1800’s brick walls.

Just found out about this coffeeshop, and visited it yesterday. Great ambiance, and great coffee, if you like sweet strong coffee you must try the Macaroon Chocolate Latte(or something close to that).

Excellent coffee and great environment to hang out w friends. They tend to be slow with getting orders done and getting people in and out quickly. Expect 10 – 15 min for your order. Would have given 5 stars if it weren’t for the consistent long wait times.

North End is such a perfect place. It’s super cute. Looks like a cute little coffee shop you would find in a big city… but it’s in Yuma. And that’s awesome. I didn’t see it on the menu, but they have soy milk. I’ve only ordered the cold brew with syrup and soy milk, but it hits the spot. And they roast their beans! They also sell handmade goods like soap and deodorant and loose tea and little treats. And they feature artists on the walls. How cool is that for Yuma? This is such an awesome place. They’re doing great things for the community by being here.

I love North End. Medium iced latte with almond milk and spiced brown sugar syrup for the win! This place has a commitment to quality in ways that few other businesses do – avocado is never the frozen store-bought crap, but rather, fresh out of the shell. They put fresh fruit in some of the teas. The produce often comes from the local co-ops. The chocolate isn’t some waxy, gross by-the-bulk stuff but Ghirardelli. The ice cream is Breyers instead of nameless crappy tub of ice cream. The whipped cream is literally hand-made. Fresh herbs go atop bagels, which are hand made(as are all desserts)… shall I go on? This business could take countless shortcuts when it comes to quality, but it doesn’t. I’m also vegan and they out-do Starbucks when it comes to milk alternatives: soy, almond, and coconut. As for the brand? Not the cheap, generic stuff but my favorite brand of Silk(which is also GMO-free, yay!). And let’s talk about the coffee. Not only is it roasted in house, but Jules(the owner/manager) went out of her way to scout out ethically sourced coffee. She seriously buys it from a local Arizonan whose family owns a sustainably grown coffee farm. The caliber is exceptional: it’s smooth – never bitter, never acrid and biting. Chai is made in house too. They use Monin syrups because it’s better quality despite being more expensive than Torani. And holy syrup selection, Batman! North End has more syrup flavors than any coffee house I’ve ever visited. Sandwiches… well, the bagel ones are home made. And not only that, but everything is made fresh. When you order a sandwich, someone literally has to crack open the eggs, toast the bread, melt the cheese, mash the avocado, cut the tomato slices… nothing is premade. Nothing. I know the wait time can be a little long, but that’s again due to the emphasis on quality. Every shot of espresso, for instance, is hand pulled instead of «press a button and let the machine do all the work.» And with sandwiches being created on the spot, it may take a bit of time… but it’s so worth it. As for the prices, they’re comparable to Starbucks but better in quality for all of the reasons mentioned above. At this point I’ll divulge that my family owns/runs this business. So am I biased? Sure. But I also have insight to this business that few others have. I know how Jules can stay up all night roasting and baking and preparing. She studied roasting and was trained in California. I know how seriously she takes every customer review(no joke, she reacts to every one of them), and how she trains her staff to issue remarkable service. I was with my mother when she played around with various recipes to create the perfect, most authentic New York-style bagel. It was around 5 am when she finally made the perfect batch. I remember how excited they were to find a gem in Kevin the baker(whose creations have been savored by President Obama – neat, right?). I recall trying to convince Jules to go with chai concentrate and she looked at me like I had committed sacrilege. I have countless anecdotes like these that point out how much this coffeehouse means to its proprietors. North End has so much heart, too. Jules was somewhat embarrassed in that shy sort of way when she got media attention for giving free meals to the homeless… but she cares THAT much about the community. Few people know this, but my mother also gave gift cards to Yuma’s anti-drug program graduates as a way of welcoming them back into society. These local values are genuine and not part of some handed down corporate culture. So yeah, I love North End. It’s an amazing coffeeshop on so many fronts.

I love the ambience of this local coffee shop. It’s great that they support other local businesses by selling their products, and their policy to feed the homeless is remarkable. I just wish the food was a little better for the price. My friend had a turkey sandwich on what seemed like Wonderbread and packaged turkey. My veggie sandwich was good but tiny and with only 1 sliver of tomato. With their competition Kneaders not far away, I hope they will improve the food so their business will succeed. Being right near the courthouse, they have great potential, but service will have to be faster if they want to get and keep the attorneys and court folks. The staff are very nice and helpful so I have very high hopes for this place!

The Saturday morning I visited there was someone quietly strumming a acoustic guitar at a side table right after entering. That set the scene for the perfect trendy coffee shop experience. In fact the couple behind me was on a date! The place is in a beautiful old building. It smells great. They bake there own breads and scones. I recommend coming in early since they were sold out of several items. The only bagel they had was a pizza bagel which turned out to be fun. The Northerner biscuit would have been better if it was warmed. The scones were old school as in not a sugary triangle. I think they would be tastier earlier in the day. The coffee was not pipping hot but had a nice taste. The dulce latte was sweet and would be fun with whipped cream. It is great to have this experience in Yuma. Service was kinda on the slow side. Although when you walk in; nothing about this place says hurry up. The servers are smiling and know the product.

Great little place in old Yuma. The décor is cozy and inviting. The barista was so nice and did a great job of making our iced coffee. We had one of specialty coffees the«macaroon». It was perfect. Not too sweet and super refreshing. We also tried the«earthquake«cookie and super yummy cross between a cookie and a brownie. Looking forward to trying their lunch menu sometime soon. To any and all looking for a great place to grab a coffee look no further. This is it!

Okay, so I literally just took my first drink ever from this place and I HAD to get on Unilocal.First and for most, I am a huge Starbucks fan. Like I’m talkin HUGE. Well I started working in the same building as this coffeehouse and a co-worker walked in with an Almond Macaroon drink. It sounded delicious. So this morning I decided to go local rather then make my usual Starbucks run. I am not disappointed. It is so tasty! I went on their website to look at their menu and noticed they do call ahead ordering for convenience. I went ahead and took advantage of this so that way I wouldn’t be gone for too long as I am used to the normal wait at Starbucks. The cheerful girl who had answered the phone to take my order said it would be about 3 minutes. I waited a few then walked over. Sure enough right as I walked in my drink was getting the whip cream swirled on top. I was greeted with sincere curiosity as to how my day was going thus far, handed my drink, paid, and I was all done! With many of us having such a busy lifestyle, convenience and coffee are the key to getting us through the day. Although Starbucks is good, I feel like this place has everything Starbucks offers to me, along with the hometown charm, and superior consumer convenience. I do believe it’s official. I’m going local! :)

My wife and I went here this morning to check it out and we were glad we did. I had a cappacinno that was delicious. This is a nice addition to this old historic building and old town. Short walk from main street and very much worth it. Very comfortable atmosphere. Outdoor table available as well. There were more small two person tables out on the sidewalk beside the building in the shade. A better sound system for the music would be nice as well, but I’m sure this will come in time because I’m sure this place is here to stay for some time to come. We really enjoyed this place and will be back often.

I discovered this cute little spot in downtown a couple of weeks ago. I have been a few times and really enjoy my visits. The drinks are great as well as the service. I especially love the welcoming set up. If you have some time to kill, there are board games available for use, cool huh?! I only wish they stayed open a little later.

Local alternative to Starbucks, North End features some locally roasted coffee, different cookies, scones, or muffins. Easy going atmosphere in an adorably decorated historic building. Located between the courthouse and Main Street in the historic Yuma area, it makes a great place to kick back with coffee and free wi fi. Buy 10 drinks and get one free!
